Another little tip (if you are looking for an overpowered academy); space your reports 2-3 days apart, and save before each one comes back. Review the report, and reload the aave if unhappy with the quality. Spacing them apart, means you won't ruin one or two reports, if the third one is bad.
If you see this could you reply to help me I only got fc24 recently and is quite new to the youth academy and didn’t ever use it in the past anyway to the point I have a youth striker with 50 overall, age 18, and has a potential of 92 do I leave him or promote him to senior team and loan him? Hope that makes sense
@RDR2GUIDES depends on what time in the season it is. If it's still before December, then promote, and loan out in January. Also depends what club you are at. If he will play in every game, start or off the bench, then promote him and use him.
Just as a note. The Playstyle+ do appear on youth academy players, they're just INSANELY rare (for reference, I reloaded my 3 scout reports for about an hour of real time and found one player with a playstyle+ that also had a useable potential)
I remember reading that dynamic potential is based on the average match rating achieved in the first half of the season. This determines whether a player with 90+ potential in 2023/24 retains that potential, upgrades even further or falls to 80 or 85 potential in 2024/25. Never promote high potential youth players to the first team after Christmas unless they are threatening to leave. If you have to promote them in the second half of the season, try to loan glitch them. Generally try to loan youth players you don't have room to give regular minutes to. And don't bring them on as subs, as that tanks their match rating. Either start them, or don't play them at all. Have a handful of older or lower potential players to bring on as subs.

You know I’ve noticed, loaning an academy player or any young player out in Jan and bringing them back if they played well before January can increase their Rating +2 or more maybe it’s just me but I’ve had players randomly go up +5 or more after doing a loan recall glitch….im not sure exactly why or how it works tho but this makes a bit of sense
One more thing: Sometimes the players come in in a very wrong position, for example you might get a 43 rated cb who is really fast and good at shooting and has 33 defending. Change these plaeyrs into the position that you feel like is the best one available to them and they can jump even 15 to 20 ratings up
@@GenjaOrigins just figuring it out. Players with high shooting are usually strikers, good driblers go to wings all around players are good at cm, good passers but bad defenders can be CAM, and good defensive stats make CB or full back

I like what they did with the youth scouts but there's still one problem that annoys me which is the fact that you can still not send scouts to the same country.
I always send my scouts out on the 2nd, 4th and 6th of each month. Save the game on the last day of each month as the youth academy report comes on the 1st of each month, if the players have dropped in potential, simply reload the save. Also save the game on the 1st then the 3rd and then the 5th, if there are no decent players in each report, simply reload the game save.
@@2oukanyou could do what fm does and add under 16, 18, 21 divisions depending on the league, also the fact a career mode only lasts 15 years sucks too, at least have the option and more control over some youth team members' development (even fm doesn't do this enough, like you have an intake and that's it)

Comrade, I have a suggestion to bring in legendary talents. Look at the value of the player. If it is a million or more, then contract with him regardless of his abilities, because he will be a legendary player. If you do not like him, you can sell him. Listen to my advice. Do not contract with any player whose value is less than a million. You can stop time until the day of sending. Report from the observer, save, and then return until you find a player worth a million or higher. This is my method and I always get legends.

i highly recommend gettin mods for pc their r easy to install and fairly safe to use although some of em u have to run in admin mode but regardless the mods make career mode more realistic and more difficult to climb up the ranks like i have two mods and a live editor so with the editor i can edit any player or team i want including theirs names stats contract even their appearance so its fanatistic for those who wanna create their own players or themselves then the one mod i have is for gameplay strictly so it slows down the game to basically be like ultimate team but it makes the AI actually play with a brain instead of doing the same stoopid ass animations for tackling shooting etc but the second mod i have and my favorite is the career mode mod where it makes transfers youth systems coaches anything u could think of more realistic so for example those youth scouts r usually only like what 4-5 mil for 5 star 5 star? well with this mod the 5 star 5 star scouts r 12-13 mil so u actually have to spend money accordingly player wages are more realistic so if ur in a small club or in a 2nd tier league u wont ever have to worry about ur players wanting 40k plus wages but if ur in a top tier league on a top tier team even a 75 rated player regardless of the age will ask for a minimum of 50k it all can be negotiated ofc but usually thats what they want and my favorite is the transfers the mod nerfs them heavily so u can still get a good amount of money if u do it urself or u do what i do and delegate the negotiations to the assistant coach and let the AI deal with it so u wont cheese the computer by gettin more when u sell thats only the shit on the surface though because the description they have for the mod is soooooo much longer i highly suggest if yall play on pc u get these mods they make career mode so much more fun just look up fifa mod manager and download that along with the live ediotr by aranku and then go to a sit like nexus mods and download them or u can go to fifa infinity cuz with them u dont have to create an account to download the mods unlike nexus mods where u have to
The removal of homegrown talent upset me , but seeing you can pick specifc positions that makes building a "Youth Academy Only" save so much more seemless and personalised !!
One thing I've always struggled to understand is if/when to change a youth players development plan. For example, do you leave them on balanced, change to a plan or position that improves their stats, or one that improves their bad stats?
I always train speed in youth once they peak change to whatever skill for the position he needs. Example, striker train shooting. When they go on loan after promoting change development to what he needs next. Then just keep changing to what they need. Just keep training to 80s or 90s or until they Max out
Not sure how effective this will be in FC25 with the fact that training player roles seems crucial, but I had a lot of success in FC24 training players in other positions to get a good spread of stats boosted. It works best with players with special potential, but for example I had a RB who has insane defensively but lacking technically. I put him on CAM position training and the stats being boosted were much better than I could have gotten on any fullback role. Combine that with dynamic potential and the growth potential is basically limitless. Especially for CMs I would either have them on CB, CAM or CF training, and through those 3 alone you would get a Gullit level all rounder, who is 90+ in all the key areas.
The players that will be superstars will have a potential between 80-94 in the first month you scout them. The more you keep them in the academy, you will see a more accurate potential (for example 92-94). The value of the player doesn't matter. You can have a 500k with a potential of 82-94 but he will turn a super star. I had players with 44 overall, but huge potential. I changed his position according to his abilities and I managed to bring him into an unbelievable +19 in just 1 season. Also you can play them for half of season, then loan them and call them back instantly. It will boost their potential up to +4-8 to overall. The maxim I had after 1 instat call up, was +13, but the player had "potential to be special"

IMPORTANT DATA: Players get PLAYSTYLE PLUS after they hit 80 overall. I don’t know if they can get it if they hit 80 when they’re on loan or if they turn 20 and didn’t hit that 80 overall.

Can you build an updated guide? A lot of things have changed after playstyles system change for youth academy. Generated players now have playstyles mostly associated with their position so changing positions may not work. And loaning players out loses out on them getting playstyles +

I'm unsure how it works now cos i just carried on with Fifa22 but Player Height by Position was an important thing. CDM is the only position that can produce really tall players, up to 6'6. Full Backs could only be up to 5'11 so you needed to find CDMs over 6ft and retrain them as CBs. Assuming EA didnt change it, it might be useful to scout for specific positions for height and then retrain i finally got my "Holy Grail player" a 15 year old, 6ft5, Technically Gifted, CDM, with exciting prospect, to retrain as a striker. I spent 2 seasons looking for one and finally got one with high potential... as FC24 was downloading... i will probably never use him and his name is Alfonso Alonso

Breakdown of possible Height by Position, stats from a guy on reddit who scouted over 600 players. Centerbacks (yes, they do exist! But ive only ever got Playmaker types with terrible defending): 5'11"-6'3" Fullbacks/wingbacks: 5'5"-5'10" CDMs: 5'7"-6'6" CMs: 5'5"-6'2" CAMs: 5'7"-6'3" Wide mids/wingers: 5'5"-5'11" STs/CFs: 5'5"-6'3" I'm assuming EA have not changed this since Fifa22 seeing as they cant even be bothered to google "50 most common surnames in x Country" and Ctrl-C -> Ctrl-V to increase the name pools.

I have signed many youth players to my main squad with potential of 85-94. Once signed i check in the squad hub in which potential range they are. Unfortunately it only says "under contract since 2023" instead of "Has potential to be special". Why is that? Is it a glitch?
if the player overall is under 60 coming out of the youth academy, it'll state the above until they reach the 60 overall benchmark, and from then they will show potential tags :)
Perhaps they patched the game I don't know but in 2 seasons I found 10+ players with 88+ potential with playstyle + They don't seem to be that rare to me. I found all except finesse + which seems to be the most broken playstyle. Thanks for the good content.
I like to start a career as a lower league team. But I find it hard to get youth players to their potential. Is it better to loan a player to a higher league team even though they might not get game time or play them in league 2?
What's the highest value you can get from a scouted player? The most I've seen is a 17 year old Finnish left back. Ended up being about 64 rated with some playstyles
Your wingers are probably the only 2 players that dont benefit much from being physically strong scouting. Literally every other position gathers you insane players with great physical ability. Always played youth academy career modes and i have not seen any other player type do better

I haven't played career mode for a while so forgive me if this is a silly question but can anyone tell me how much it actually costs (if anything) to sign a player to your academy? I think I vaguely remember on older FIFA's that it would tell you. (I think it was about 90,000 or something). Is this still the case as I haven't seen anything anywhere. I'm using a club with a small budget so don't want to bankrupt the club by signing too many youth players!
my minor problem that kind of ruining the immersion of Career mode is how generic the surnames for most English speaking country's regen players are.Nothing against The Smiths or The Browns . But where are the ethnic surnames ( Saka,Singh,Tarkowski,Le Tissier) or rarer surnames (Drinkwater,Huddlestone,Foderingham) etc . This also can be said for other countries with so little of variation of Surnames. As i said,its only a minor bothers but its personally ruins the immersion to commit to a long terms Career mode
When it first came out i bought it still had a few bugs but a good bug to say the least i took 4 players on a free transfer ,toni blanco gk 19 years old 75 rated-adrain sandoval cb 18 years old 81 rated😂 -leandro de smet cf/cam 19 years old -79 rated - caio teixeira 18 years old- 81 rated dont know if any one else found these but real gems for free anyway best players for me are mirretti 88 rated , garnacho 89 rated , mathys tel 87 , arda guler 87 and thats end of the second season 😂
Anybody have a general idea of how long it might be before we start seeing mods for career mode on PC? Or if there are already any out. I don't want to play through a whole season just to have all my good youth talent backslide with the dynamic potential bug.
I am pretty sure your youth players Can develop playstyle+( i Got a guy who at the start dit not have a playstyle+ but at the time he was 80 he had Got 1. Idk if this happens all the time.

One minute he says don’t leave your players in the youth, next minute he is saying keep them in there as long as possible……… listen to me… he also states the best thing to look at is potential, yes , but one of the main things to look for is overall… try finding players with the highest starter overall…. You can find a player with potential 90+ but starter overall 45-50… infact look for potential 90+ with starter overall 65-70…
the fact we can scout specific positions this year is a huge W, that's gonna be great for everyone who uses the academy often (like myself)

Somehow I managed to find a defensive minded striker with an overall of 39. Retraining him to a Right back caused his overall to rise to 66.
Im currently doing a German RTG with Dortmund II, Its primarily youth focused till I get enough money from the club during the transfer windows!

what i did was select an efl league 2 club scout a full team of world class academy hopefuls and replace them and play them every game

I have signed many youth players to my main squad with potential of 85-94. Once signed i check in the squad hub in which potential range they are. Unfortunately it only says "under contract since 2023" instead of "Has potential to be special". Why is that? Is it a glitch?
if the player overall is under 60 coming out of the youth academy, it'll state the above until they reach the 60 overall benchmark, and from then they will show potential tags :)

Perhaps they patched the game I don't know but in 2 seasons I found 10+ players with 88+ potential with playstyle + They don't seem to be that rare to me. I found all except finesse + which seems to be the most broken playstyle. Thanks for the good content.
I like to start a career as a lower league team. But I find it hard to get youth players to their potential. Is it better to loan a player to a higher league team even though they might not get game time or play them in league 2?

What's the highest value you can get from a scouted player? The most I've seen is a 17 year old Finnish left back. Ended up being about 64 rated with some playstyles
Well found a CM player from Spain who was 58-80 ovr with a potential of 85-94 he was worth 5million at 17 😅
i find rlly good talent with 95+ pot but they always become 70 by the end of the seson

Your wingers are probably the only 2 players that dont benefit much from being physically strong scouting. Literally every other position gathers you insane players with great physical ability. Always played youth academy career modes and i have not seen any other player type do better
what should you look for in a winger? go with the Winger trait and the look for RWB/LWB?

I look at Potential and THEN Value….anything over 1mil or 2mil is amazing the most I’ve seen is a goalkeeper 2.5mil at 69 rated I think

My youth players have great potential but when they are in my senior team they upgrade +1 in 10 weeks or something. Any help how they can get to there potential faster

If ea spent any effort on career mode they would of fixed half these problems a decade ago. Feels like they spend 5% of their budget on it

How do I turn off dynamic potential on pc? What mod or third party thing do I need
I haven't played career mode for a while so forgive me if this is a silly question but can anyone tell me how much it actually costs (if anything) to sign a player to your academy? I think I vaguely remember on older FIFA's that it would tell you. (I think it was about 90,000 or something). Is this still the case as I haven't seen anything anywhere. I'm using a club with a small budget so don't want to bankrupt the club by signing too many youth players!
it does cost the budget to sign a player, im doing a cambridge united career mode lmao. So only sign players that are 1 mil +
my minor problem that kind of ruining the immersion of Career mode is how generic the surnames for most English speaking country's regen players are.Nothing against The Smiths or The Browns . But where are the ethnic surnames ( Saka,Singh,Tarkowski,Le Tissier) or rarer surnames (Drinkwater,Huddlestone,Foderingham) etc . This also can be said for other countries with so little of variation of Surnames. As i said,its only a minor bothers but its personally ruins the immersion to commit to a long terms Career mode

When it first came out i bought it still had a few bugs but a good bug to say the least i took 4 players on a free transfer ,toni blanco gk 19 years old 75 rated-adrain sandoval cb 18 years old 81 rated😂 -leandro de smet cf/cam 19 years old -79 rated - caio teixeira 18 years old- 81 rated dont know if any one else found these but real gems for free anyway best players for me are mirretti 88 rated , garnacho 89 rated , mathys tel 87 , arda guler 87 and thats end of the second season 😂

I am pretty sure your youth players Can develop playstyle+( i Got a guy who at the start dit not have a playstyle+ but at the time he was 80 he had Got 1. Idk if this happens all the time.

Don’t listen to this guy, he doesn’t talk any sense ! One minute he says don’t leave your players in the youth, next minute he is saying keep them in there as long as possible……… listen to me… he also states the best thing to look at is potential, yes , but one of the main things to look for is overall… try finding players with the highest starter overall…. You can find a player with potential 90+ but starter overall 45-50… infact look for potential 90+ with starter overall 65-70…
Youth players should definitely stay in the academy as long as possible. Idk what else you've heard.
