Barbara, l love watching your crafting and listening to you! For the shiny stickers, if you rub a little gesso on them, it dulls the shine. Can't wait to try your ideas!!
The three tags are beautiful! I could not even choose my favourite one :) Thank you for this, tags and pockets are always so useful for our journals. I understand what you say about food, for the last years I have taken an approach that is not think about food and just eat what I like most when I want to. Above all, not feeling guilty about it. I agree with Nigella Lawson: "There is a way in which food is used either to self congratulate-you're a better person because you're eating like that-or to self-persecute, because you'll not allow yourself to eat the foods you want." "I think behind the notion of 'clean eating' is an implication that any other form of eating is dirty or shameful."
WOW Barbara! Love-love-love this video! The pocket tags are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your fabulous ideas. It's also a pleasure to listen to your voice, relaxing! Wishing you all the best /Ditte in Sweden
Good morning Barbara, love the tags you made . I love the way your do your collage on your tags . Very pretty . Great idea when you put maps on your tags , and the lady & child , were an added bonus. 🌺 🌸 🌺
Love all the tags! When I saw you put food fatigue on the map paper it reminded me of when I've been traveling for an extended period of time and I am so tired of restaurant food and eating out. I look at a menu and nothing looks good.
My definition of food fatigue: being tired of having to plan, shop, put away and cook all the food. Being tired of my own cooking. Hehe. I can totally relate!
I can totally relate to food fatigue. Never heard it called that but is a good description. I get so tired of trying to figure out what to cook for dinner and the dreaded words “what’s for dinner”. Lovely tags!
I think a lot of us can relate to struggling with healthy food choices. And it is getting harder to do it because of the price of food. We have to keep trying and hoping we are doing it the right way. Your tags are so gorgeous. I will be making some this morning. TFS
I just love your definition of food fatigue! I feel this all the time. There should really be a word for it, it's rather strange that there isn't! Love your videos and I love to craft along with you! 🌹💕
I can relate to your “food fatigue”. As someone with type I diabetes thinking about what to eat, when to eat and how it will affect my insuline dose is a large part of my everyday life. It can get really tireing and I sometimes wish I could enjoy just one day not having to think about it.
I love doing pocket too and yours are so gorgeous. Happy you used the little woman and girl 🥰 I had never heard before of food fatigue but I understand the meaning and I totally agree with you. 😘❤ big hugs sweetie
These are lovely. I really like the look of collage made from neatly cut out pieces of paper - I do use torn papers but it goes against my natural preference for nice straight lines 😁
I really loved all the tags you made. Very very pretty. I think I'll have a go at it. It's nice to hear you are a fan of Michael Greger. He is incredible and I have learnt so much from his videos. Keep up the good work.
I like your Definition of food fatigue. I can relate and I’m trying to eat clean and limit myself on food types so I don’t have to make so many choices or think about it.
I can completely relate to your definition of food fatigue!! I don't know if I'm just bored by food these days or what it is, but I wish eating wasn't essential to survival sometimes lmao. I love food, don't get me wrong, but all of the things you mentioned make me not want anything to do with food. I was telling my sister about this and she didn't really get it lol, apparently I sound crazy when I mention this to people. Anyway, I love the pockets you made, I want to try to make some of my own.
The food topic is really frustrating, especially when big greedy corporations try to tell us all the junk they are producing is healthy... Just make some pocket tags and don’t think about food for a while 😂
The tags are gorgeous. My favourite is the butterflies one. I totally understand u, I have the same struggle with food, thinking every day 3 times/day what to eat and what to cook so everyone in my family eats it because my daughter is a picky eater.
@@49dragonflies yesterday we wore in the city and by lunch time we have decided to eat out after more than 6 months (I have a 6 months old baby boy) and it wose so good for once not to cook.
The tags are lovely being just that little bit different. As far as food goes I don’t have an exclusively plant based diet but I do try and eat healthily apart from the odd treat!! x
Great tag ideas. I never think to put a pocket on a tag. Will be trying that. I bought some Tim Holtz reinforcer and never think to use them. I am going to dig them out of my stash and use them. As always thanks for the great ideas. ❤️
Oh I love your pocket tags, they are so pretty I really love the bento box papers gorgeous.... The map papers looked fab on the tags, that was a great inspiration, thank you so much sweetie... 🧡💛❤️🌼😁 As for the food.... I won't go there!!! 🤔🤔

Love those tags! I happened to eat plant based that it looks like “sausages”. It comes cheese and eggs with muffin bread. . I was impressed how well it tastes-it’s my first time I tried that kind of plant that were seasoned just like assuage. It is very new to me. I really like it because I love vegetables and I am not that crazy to eat with any meats. I ordered one from Dunkin Donuts and I am impressed how good it is.
Love the tags and I can relate to your struggle with healthy food choices. I have stopped eating sugar, but on my sons birthday I cheated 🥴 and now the craving for sugar is back. It now looks as though everything sugar related is calling me: eat me, eat me, eat me, like Alice in Wonderland 😂😂
I know what you mean!! Sugar is so addictive! Food really is a constant struggle. Humans used to struggle not finding enough food, now we struggle having too much!
Another lovely project. Thanku for the instructions re biodiversity heritage website- I had had a look at it, previously, but wasn't sure how to actually download the images, so Thanku for explaining! Xx
