      Awesome I'm am so glad you find them enjoying and I really appreciate your support. I sure do have days of my real life tied into these tests 🤣
      The next one you will see has probably taken a good 7 days already working on and I'm not even done testing lol

    I enjoy watching all your test videos, and I'm pretty sure you put a lot of time in to each one but you have to many variables when testing things. I'd love to explain in more detail but it's a lot to explain. Please keep up the great work and making great videos to help the community. (P.S. Liked and Subbed)

      I am very thankful for your support and glad you enjoyed them.
      I do try to test every variable possible for "base game content" so none of these tests are including mods of any sort that could change the outcome such as economy or cargo ect.
      I would love to know what you are thinking even if it is alot, as that could be something else I can test in the future or perhaps I have already tested one of your ideas.
      I really do appreciate your support and look forward to further testing and entertaining

      @@redbelliedgaming control the variables by using 3 of the same trucks and drivers. save that game and use them to test 1 garage at a time. reload the save and move them to the next garage. this will control 2 variables so there is no question about driver skills, tucks used and freight used by driver. same drivers/skills means about only 3% very in profit from these variables. just an ideal for you.

    • @redbelliedgaming
      @redbelliedgaming  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @samsoul79 i did use exact same trucks and all the drivers skills were exactly the same in all of my tests, after 30 days they are completely skilled up anyways so your 7 day profit would reflect that of fully skilled drivers that's why I let it go out so far before ending the test

    Cool video. I’ve been following these videos and it’s been helpful. I’m using this method on ETS2 but I put a point in each of the different skills before I switched it to balanced. I found that they returned to the garage with an empty load less frequently.
    I think the only thing left to test is try an all female garage to an all male garage. Probably won’t make a difference but would be an interesting test.

      Actually that's a great idea I will be trying for sure, not sure if it'll make a difference or not but would be pretty funny to test honestly lol.

    I always set my employees to train for distance first. Even the crappiest load pays more when you get to drive a longer distance. When that one is trained to the max, I set training to balanced and let 'em figure it out.

      Interesting, some other viewers mentioned that as well however based on these results it didn't make a difference and was better to just leave them balanced.

      Here is my thinking after googling and following ETS2 scene since few years. You have to give your workers best shot at getting a job. What I like to do is hire someone who has either long haul or ADR point. Then get a point in long haul (or ADR depends on what employee has) followed by getting a point in each category (except eco thats waste) then get back to ADR. My thinking is from prespective of player. You cannot do a ADR category if you do not have licence for specific category, or do high-value cargo if you do not have high cargo licence. Once you have a point in high value cargo for example any next point will increase the job profit, but getting more points in ADR means unlocking jobs.

      @macekyuki7660 that's an interesting concept, I will put that into another test video and give that a try. Thanks for commenting this

    Training priority in any one category to start is the fastest way to achieve a 5.0 driver rating. Try hiring 2 new drivers with a 0.8 rating. Set one to balanced and one to anything else. Concentrating on one category at a time will result in faster increase in driver grade and more profit over time.

    • @redbelliedgaming
      @redbelliedgaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's exactly what was tested in this video and proved to be wrong. It was better to be left balanced for the most profit.

      @@redbelliedgaming You're mistaken, good sir. Get 2 brand new drivers at 0.8. Put one on balanced, one on anything else, see which reaches 5.0 first.

      @@redbelliedgaming Having a driver on one or the other doesn't determine profit, but a 5.0 driver makes more than a 1.7 driver. You get to 5.0 faster by concentrating on a single perk.

    I checked some of the testing you did, interesting results. The only problem I see is using multiple garages and drivers for same test which results in possibly big variable. If you used savegame with set of base starter employees and garage, then give them whatever you are testing in instance such as skills or trailers then reload for next test there would not be any variable.

      I go out over 30 days in game to allow all employees to level up and be even as well as to set the 7 day profit for what it should be. As for different garages...that doesn't make a difference. Based on past tests with that maybe 2-5k per day or less profit change between garages. Not enough of a deviation to worry about. I want to see a 10-15k or more in profit a day difference to really make a difference. I am however testing EVERY garage in the game and will be running it out for over 60 days in game before ending it to fully confirm or deny if garages make a difference so I'm excited to see that as some viewers still say it makes a difference.

    I feel there's a lot of different scenarios /variances at play here. For instance, what if we were to use a realistic economy (GDC economy for example) I believe that would tweak the likeliness of a driver "not finding" a load and also how much the expenses would be to cover that empty trip (dead head)
    I am a VTC owner so I like and accept challenges. We will get to the bottom of this and leave no stone unturned 💪
    Keep in mind, in the real world, price per mile doesn't do much good if you aren't actually driving the miles. If it's a short run, sure you'll turn a quick profit but the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow would be a long haul paying $3/mile for 1200 miles verses $4/mile covering only 500 miles. So to sum it all up, you need miles plus pay 💵

    I think in order to fully test these out, you need to spread your garages out into different states. Could be you are too saturated in one area with all of your garages that makes some drivers unable to find loads. Juat wondering if that would make a difference in these videos

    • @redbelliedgaming
      @redbelliedgaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have already tested cities to see if that really makes a difference in will link it below.
      Some viewers still believe that cities makes a big difference so going further i am testing EVERY garage in the game to either prove that to be wrong or true if that makes sense.
      Here is the video that I have already done

    Sub'd, I've been doing it a certain way for a long time now. No trailers, I start my my employees off with the cheapest peterbuilt truck and a 600hp engine.(thanks to one of your previous videos) Throw on hazardus material till they max that out and then put them on balanced. I don't know if it makes a difference but i feel like once they are level 5 then they can find better jobs? Maybe? idk. but does the transmission matter on the employees truck or can you just leave it stock with an upgraded engine? Once again, great video!

      @redbelliedgaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Awesome I'm am super glad you enjoyed this video as well as my previous videos.
      Based on this test, it running hazardous priority was one of the worst ones with trailers, without it didn't make a difference. As for your transmission question, that is actually another video coming as well. However right now I am in the works of making the "every garage test" in the game video. As you can imagine that's taking alot of time to make as I'm trying to test every trailer in every garage in the game on separate accounts to further put the cities to rest lol.
      Also, THANK YOU so much for your continued support. I am very glad you enjoyed this video

    the problem using trailers is too much dead heading prob the best trailer to use is the refer as u can do dry goods or cold, but in reality yeah no trailer is better then trailer which the devs should fix or u can use a mod to decrease the deadheading. I've found that if u use main citys example LA New Mexico Its best to put at least 2-3 points into long distance one point into fuel then have everything else to 2 point except fuel then 4th point into long distance then 3rd points except fuel then 5th in long distance 2nd point into fuel 4th points into everything else 3rd point fuel 5 everthing else Then finish fuel

      @redbelliedgaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have already tested both trailers and cities. It's better to not run trailers for employees at all you can checkout my channel and see where I tested that. It also doesn't make a difference on city you pick, I also tested that.
      This video shows that it doesn't make a difference on skill for employees.

      Hello, not real sure what you are asking here?
      To open the map, you push M or go to the navigation tab in the main menu.
      To unlock the map like what I have, you have to drive in the cities to unlock them.
      To get the garages, you have to discover them and buy them. It takes a lot of time to do all of those things.

      I'm sorry to confuse you with this my friend.
      Let me explain a little better, this test was testing if training priority makes a difference for employees. Another viewer said if you use trailers for employees and set to "high value cargo" they would make more money with trailers. After testing both with and without trailers it is better to just leave them with a balanced priority and still not using trailers for employees still makes the most money per day.
      I hope this helps clarify things a bit more.
      I appreciate your continued support 🤘
