I know people don’t like it when you say the minifigure is “extra”, but either way, you get Rex in the Venator. Putting Rex ALSO in a microfighter doesn’t take away from the original set, it just means everyone can get Rex. Win-Win situation.
Bought around 10 of Jay's battle mech when they were on sale for 8$. It's a very generous set considering its price. Hoping we get similar sets with Castle and Pirates.
Hello everyone! These are my 7 favourite sets under $20 from 2024: 40725 - Cherry Blossoms 71805 - Jay's Mech Battle Pack - Ninjago 71810 - Young Dragon Riyu - Ninjago 42622 - Friends - Adventure Camp Archery Range - Friends 60429 - Spaceship and Asteroid Discovery - City 40713 - Japan Postcard - Creator 43243 - Simba the Lion King Cub - Disney
I deeply appreciate you not having the stupid take on the Rex microfighter that so many LEGO creators seem to have. Being more consumer-friendly with figure accessibility is something I'd love to see LEGO do more frequently. Though yes, they could clean up their messaging on the topic a little bit.
I didn’t get a lot of sets were $20 or below, and I realize some of the gems I missed. But between the few I have, my favorite is Shadow's Escape (technically). If that doesn’t count, I can say it was Young Dragon Riyu
ranking the red panda battle pack above both of the cheap space sets is crazy ngl. I think most of your picks here are pretty good, but when it comes to dreamz, I would have picked Izzy's narhwal balloon instead of Zoey's cat bike. Also, baby pig's birthday and both alien packs were pretty good.
I couldn't agree more to the top 3. I do think the Spaceship should be number one. that ship is a work of art, Got myself 5 just in case lego never makes something that awesome again. Still thinking how many ninjago battlepacks I should get.
8:51 You got something wrong here. Lego Star Wars FANS were not outraged about this set. The only people mad at this set were no good resellers. They are NOT fans of Lego Star Wars.
9:10 the controversy is not caused by the price of the set alone, LEGO stated in the manual that the Captain Rex and Yularen minifigs would be exclusive to the set. They essentially lied to the fans, some of which had bought the set to get the first p2 Captain Rex minifig since 2013
9:16 absolutely not every minifigure is NOT an extra if its locked behind an expensive set its basically one of the main draws to the set if anything did you forget the main reason people wanted the venator was for the captain rex figure only?
LOVE these videos first of all, BUT I don’t understand how you can miss the whole point of the Captain Rex issue?! Few people have issue with the fact that he was taken from an expensive set and included in a cheaper more ‘consumer friendly’ set. They have issue with the fact that LEGO claimed PUBLICLY that Rex would be EXCLUSIVE to the Venator. THAT’S the issue. If they are going to make claims like that, then it should be exclusive to the Venator as long as that set is readily available. I’m happy that everyone has access to this figure. I’m not happy that LEGO lied.

Interstellar Spaceshipis the best set from this years city space line, and is a really solid deal for $20.

I definitely agree that jays mech is number 1

The number 1 choice is on point
I never ended up getting Shelob so I got Aragog in order to have a “Shelob” with my LOTR collection 😅
Yoooo. We got power again, boys!
I have all of them except for the battle pack and the spider. :D
I’m surprised not even 1 elemental mech got here I think they could’ve made top 5 but oh well it’s your opinion

Where was the public claim that Rex would be exclusive to the Venator?
