I just found this song. I love it dearly. But can anyone explain why it's so underground? This is the only record I've ever seen of it??? Are there more versions of it, is it from a film ?
@@camilaisalawliet Bobby Wayne did a lot of recordings but they were only ever released on 78rpm shellac records which not many people play anymore because 1) shellac records are very brittle 2) a lot of record players don't have a 78rpm speed anymore as vinyl is played mostly at 45rpm for 7" records and 33rpm for 12" and is alot more available. I haven't come across anyone else recording this song except for Bobby Wayne. I agree, it's a wonderful song
