Sand Cave and White Rocks in Lee County, Virginia

We took a day hike to Sand Cave and White Rocks in Lee County, Virginia recently and it was a sight to behold. We took time to enjoy the beautiful scenery along with way which expanded into a 7.5 hour total hike in 10 miles. The hike was very strenuous but well worth the time and effort. Hiked that last fall, 2020. Really rocky, ankle breakers, most of the way. Pretty views from White Rock. Not a trail that's on my list to do again.

I’m pretty sure those signs are not excluding cowboys from the trail , I believe they are saying no one is to be riding large dogs on the trail. 😉
