Nah it's all psychology. Natural mediums even are actually just subconsciously picking up queues and then sending it to their conscious brain like in the "swinging monkey" psychology test where the participants subconscious picked up on the answer for a very specific reason, but their conscious brain isn't told the logic to the thinking, only the answer, so the conscious brain makes up a logical reason for thinking of the answer.
