This is the first song I ever heard from Black Sabbath and it made me fall in love with band Such an iconic guitar riff!! And I also love Black Sabbath lyricism🤘
My first listen o this song was 1985 while Black Sabbath was at Live Aid's! I watched TV back then and was surprised by the primitive power and deepness of this song.
Fay, you into metal! ❤ Love your channel. " variety is the Spice of Life" I first heard Iron man when the Road Warriors (wrestlers) would come out to their intro and beat their opponents before the intro was even over....so, this one's a favorite! Here are a few I've been into lately Budgie - in for the kill Deep Purple- child in time Manilla Road - Atlantis rising Ozzy osbourne - fire in the sky Dio - stand up and shout! Pretenders - I'm a mother! Skunk Anansie - Charlie big potato
Whenever I encountered a box fan back when I was a kid and hanging out with my buddies I would lean into it close to utter the opening words to this song. When I got older I found out that Black Sabbath had indeed used a box fan -- an oscillating metal fan -- to create that effect on the vocals of that opening line. But the matter remains in dispute. This Iron Man has nothing to do with Marvel Comic's Iron Man. A vengeful hero isn't a hero in the end!
Every note, every beat, is in the right place in this classic.
1980-81 school year, i was in 8th grade, and i played this song on my box radio everywhere i went. to me its the most iconic groove in rock history.
