    A little late to the party, but this series is so good! I got married last year in Nov and can really relate to the highs and lows! Went from working full-time and living in the same city as all my family to being stay at home wife in a town 6 hours away. But, so blessed to be able to be in this with my wonderful husband, but it can be hard for sure. Looking forward to the upcoming videos, and def recommend doing some deep cleaning, daily vlogs, date night ideas, staying in touch with family, routines, etc! I’ve been struggling with feeling a little lonely, but I know that the Lord definitely has a plan for this time. Thanks Ash for always keeping it authentic for us! You are really loved and appreciated!

    Before watching the whole thing - content regarding being a wife: how you handle when your husband comes home after a really hard day and how you navigate that and connect, how you handle a major disagreement that neither of you want to budge on/seems to be a stand still/how do you submit when you see all the possible and absolute issues with the choice the husband wants, how do you show your husband respect when you are upset or hurt by him, what does choosing forgiveness look like when it’s been the same thing weekly or even multiple times a week, who do you talk to when the marriage is struggling or you personally are struggling with your husband (since family shouldn’t be the person nor best friends because you eventually will forgive your husband but they may not), how do you find connection/reach a point of connection where there is no resolve yet in a point of contention??

    Could you make a video on the challenges of marriage. Or just what you should prepare for beforehand?

    ❤ THIS YOUNG LADYS NEED THIS !!! No marriage is a fairytale it is work we are not June cleavers we want to deep clean and make food from scratch but sometimes that just doesn’t happen and that’s ok so many influencers paint and unrealistic picture your honesty is exactly what the world needs

    Great idea!
    What does it look like for you to managing a home?
    How did you transition from being single minded, taking care of you to switching to the mindset of managing a home with your husband?
    I know that God has called a woman to be ultimately the manager of the home but it's not talked about alot on how to make the mind switch.

    Ashley!! This is what I needed so much!! 😍😍😍I’m also a new wife and I thought I’m the only one woman in the world that likes keeping’s home 🥰 people sometimes don’t understand that taking care of home, husband and children is also a very demanding job 🥰 I hope this vlog gonna be uploaded often ❤❤❤ thank you for what you do!! Love you ❤ from Poland 🇵🇱

    Such a great idea! It’s a huge learning curve, and so admirable that you are intentionally trying to do it well & try new systems!
    Here’s a topic that really surprised me…planning for holidays/birthdays/celebrations. Things like which side of the family to visit or when to just celebrate on your own as a couple. Blending traditions, making holidays special as a couple w/out kids, how to do gifts, etc. It definitely changes over time but I didn’t realise how much stress would come up over holidays!!!

    • @coffeegirls
      @coffeegirls  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes... holidays are huge and hard when 2 different people with different families come together. Maybe I can touch on that!

    I am so glad you're doing this though much older I am a newly wed now just celebrating our 1 year anniversary. It's wonderful hearing from a Godly perspective the ministry of marriage. I am new to this journey and it's been fun, a struggle, a challenge and continual learning experience but I am loving the journey and so excited to see what God is going to do through us.

    Please, Please do this series!
    When I was raising my children I kept my home very clean and organized. Once they were raised I worked several years. Now that I'm back home I'm very confused and don't know how to get myself back in the rythem. I could really use your new fresh ideas to help me get back into being the homemaker I want to be.

  • @patriciagithae
    @patriciagithae ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Dude, thanks for asking. So 1) definitely cooking and cleaning! Also if you enjoy those? I don't and I'm terrified of that part. 2) staying positive. I feel the pressure of other women working corporate and making all these "milesrones" would weigh me down 3) Johnny's role in idk encouraging or supporting a homemaker

    I am so happy you’re doing this! I’ve been married three years in October. God said it was time to be a month about four months after we were married so I jumped straight into mom life (which quickly became SAHM medical mom). Between her orthopedic appointments, physical and speech therapy appointments, cf appointments, ent appointments, and doing all of her home cares with her breathing treatments/meds/tube feeds on top of that, I feel like I lost track of learning the wife role and I hate that :/ I am learning along with you! Thank you for doing this! ❤

    Ty perfect timing as I’m new in a relationship that is leading to marriage with a godly man and would love to start now to prepare to be a godly wife in the future thank you! I loved your and Johnnys story! My boyfriend and I are long distance as well so would love even content on moving and that transition as well and how to be a wife while also building community when moving to a new place for marriage and Gods calling. And also ways you both practice building each other spiritually whether if you have good couples devos to recommend for preparing for marriage or in marriage etc would be so helpful! Thanks for your ministry! ❤

    I want to make sure no one thinks I’m being hateful. Ive been watching your channel for years and I’m so inspired by you and your family. For that reason I am pointing this out. Why do you call yourself wifey? That term makes us sound so small, it diminishes our position and role. I say this because especially in today’s society/ world where the enemy is out to destroy our society starting with the holy union that is matrimony. Just think about this… would you introduce yourself as your husbands wife? Or wifey? Which one sounds like it deserves respect?
