Easy answer to a question but interesting discussion to listen to and learn another writer's experience. I've been considering a pen name with a few stories I've been working on because I write so many different genres.

Many authors under pseudonymous names happen to do it for the extra suspense, to hopefully drag in more curious readers, the word “pseudonymous” happens to mean writing under a false or fable name,
“Zoo-don-ah-miss” is the correct pronunciation, of this fairly unknown word, but not used to very popular plethora of topics, as mostly pseudonymous authors write under one pacific genre and that is mystery, which isn’t very surprising since they write under a fable name, there is popular writers who have written under a false name as many know Lemony Snicket, who is Daniel Halder, who covers for Snicket’s meeting and meet and greets,
Is actually Lemony Snicket And the very known Pseudonymous Bosch, when you have pseudonymous in your name than people are just going to read your books since they think your name is just interesting to note, P.B’s real name is Raphael Simon.

Many Author Names are planned around Financial Markets and Associative Reasoning; to "limit"/ those not "a part of "Fiscal/Financial Policy/Politics"" to "regulate", but any limitation andor "stopping" of the Free Market isn't consistent and thus "regular", and this action favors "Associative Research" andor "Inductive Reasoner's" andor "Inductive Researchers" andor the same andorothers that are "led" with purpose truly other than Free Market.

The interviewer really spoke over the guest a lot - this wasn't a good interview to watch. She hardly got to explain why she goes by Ali.
Also shocked the interviewer spoke badly of Casual Vacancy. Not sure if they're politically minded with that, but it was surprising. Ali didn't look to comfortable with it.

Typical CNN host - 75% them talking, 10% the guest, 15% the guest hastily wrapping up their answer while the host rambles over them

I'm not going to watch a 5min video to find out the answer to a simple question

God, I hate CNN. The author seems like a nice lady.

In my opinion, a woman writing with a male name as a pseudonym is using words to cross-dress as a transgender male. A man writing with a female name as a pseudonym us using words to cross-dress as a transgender female.
