There’s no lubrication, there’s no way the tolerances are tight enough. Not to mention if the compressor size matches the air output of the engine. It’s cute for scale, but it was never going to work. Props to him for trying though. I’m sure he thought it was going to work while he was building it.
Here’s the issue. The nitro engine is a 2 stroke. The pipe is tuned to make torque and power. Doing this you’ll lose all the torque. Not saying it won’t work, but also it’s gonna be really lean so you’re gonna have to richen up the mixture a lot or you risk burning it down

Swap your hoses title fit better . also thinking fund a body and front mount two of them ? Melt the body to fit the turbos in front . that would be dope also . but badass build bro rc on

Can’t wait to see it run, if you put the line on the charge pipe it may act like a fuel pressure regulator, as boost goes up so will pressure just an idea probably already doing it on the exhaust side
@@JovanMichaels Pressure nipple needs to be on the exhaust side, otherwise you will be chasing the tune. Also, you may need address the back plate and go with a bump box style plate because if the roto start bushing wears out you will lose crank case pressure. This type of engine relies pressure waves, hence the term "tuned pipe", you are now eliminating the expansion chamber. 2 strokes are sensitive to these changes, I would suggest to connect the turbo at the chamber exhaust outlet. I hate to sound negative and i hope ya get it going and don't be afraid of trying different combos. Oh you may want to buy an extra connecting rod and some glow plugs, don't ask me how i know, lol. good luck 👍.
I hate to inform you that it isn't possible for the turbo to compress the air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber because a nitro engine has the intake port and exhaust port open briefly at the same time letting most of your air/fuel mixture escape out the open exhaust. The only way for the turbo to actually compress enough air and fuel into the cylinder to increase the HP and rpm range would be to put it on a 4 stroke gas engine and convert it to run on nitro. You'd be better off putting nitrous oxide on the 2 stroke. It makes them scream for a min. At least until the engine seizes.
Just a heads up . if your building that hpi you should go ahead and get the suspension kit they sell a full aluminum suspension with adjustable shocks and links ? Matching color?. Dude they even sell the castor blocks and drive cups . aveything that would be a badass Shelfqueen

I program and run cncs with mastercam so if you need a custom bracket or something made just hit me up. I plan on possibly doing some r&d on parts if i pick one for customization and all. If ya need a little part made or something, ill hook ya up just to see this thing scream! Also love the stang. I uae to build a race 5.0s as well. Love your turbo build! Keep killing it dude! 💪
I think you should put the tuned pipe back on the down pipe off the turbo will probably help it run better servers a purpose with motor timing witch will probably help the turbo work even better than it would with out it
You said the same sentence like 35 times in the last 3 or 4 min that could have had a sneak peak at turbo noises or something. I can assure you everyone whos watching knows you did it. Why not just show us.
Ok I'll admit it looks cool as hell! But, people talking about it being a toy makes me agree. How is the turbo going to get lubricated? In all honesty, I think it is going to run and make some cool noises for a little while...and then it's gonna melt itself. But it's also a nitro car and I know nothing about those motors...so who knows. I like being wrong and I hope I am!

Just saying it won’t run long the turbo needed a intake filter more than an exhaust the rings will be ruined but it is cool but u don’t customize a air filter it won’t work it’s gonna blow anything 2stroke will die with a dirty or no filter so it won’t work long unless u take my advice the dust and everything even though beside ur house can ruin the piston ring

I got a nitro rc car for a cheap price for parts, I want to get it when it arrives to my house, it’s a HSP car but half of the car, this makes the car more accessible for parts and all I need is the body that is 1/10 for the car…

Its not possible you cannot boost 2 stroke engines… why? Because when cylinder sucks in air the exhaust port is also open

Forced induction does NOT work on glow engines.
