He was favorite wrestler since he was on Harlem Heat, seeing his career from that point on was very inspiring. Booker T is one of the best to ever grace the squared circle.
Check out my guy Ron Simmons, he was the first black heavyweight champ in mainstream wrestling. He beat Big Van Vader for the WCW belt. Amazing moment as a kid seeing that. Ron ran so Booker could fly. Two legends.

I am a 51 year-old white Aussie bloke, and used to love watching Booker T with my son when he was a kid. I used to ask "Can you dig me, sucka!?", and he laughed at just how lame I was. Fun times.
Booker T truthfully got everyone respect because the man never hide where he came from and what he did then paid his debt to society and turned his life around along with his big brother, and with his employer believing in Booker T’s future on becoming a pro wrestler and becoming a successful man in doing so! The struggles is real and yet Booker showed us all that if you want something in life you work hard for it and Booker did just that he didn’t make excuses or squander the opportunity given to him to fulfill everything he did and even now look at Booker he been in WWE longer then he ever was in WCW he is helping the younger talent in NXT along HBK and has his own thing with ROW back home in Texas giving back to the community that gave him a chance and is paying it forward over 10 folds!

Booker T is the one of the best to ever lace up a pair of boots, in my opinion. Even as a kid, with his arsenal of kicks and moves I realized I was seeing someone unique. Always been one of my favorites.
