Some bad news regarding this week's Top 5 Plays.
As you may know, HoN has been having some troubles lately. Ignoring the fact that it was recently hacked resulting in major shutdown of all hon servers, the replay servers seem to have also shutdown for the last couple of days, effectively not allowing the download of any recent plays.
As a result, this week we only had 4 days worth of plays to choose from, rather than a week's worth. The plays that we weren't able to see will pass on to the next episode*.
Setting that aside: Enjoy the episode and Happy Holidays! :)
Edit: More bad news - The plays that we weren't able to see will NOT pass on to the next episode as they have not been recorded or have been deleted from HoN's Replay Servers.

We thought of that, but to make a true best of 2012 episode, we first need to wait until all the 2012 games are played.

Loved the Aluna throw, I'm a fairly decent Aluna, but to get so lucky for such a setup, I can't top that.

Hey ScumbagNetwork, I have just ONE video editing question. How do you implement the chat in all of your videos without an out-of-sync layer behind it (assuming you're speccing without UI)? Are you masking it? I'm not sure if the chat's in sync with the action on the screen but I'm pretty sure it's not, which would require some kind of layering to implement it. You also seem to be able to implement other HUD elements too (Hero POV) so I'm just wondering about your spec setup and all that.

Watching the replays allows a PoV option, there's a miniUI for that in the spec options.

Basically we had to skip an episode because of the issue with the replay servers, but we're back on track. Expect a new Top 5 Plays this week!

I had hoped for this too, but no luck. The replay servers are back online but every replay seems to have been wiped out.
tremble and valk,succ plays were better than the wh play,but anyways very nice top 5,like always,keep it going :D

Maybe we can sign a petition or make a poll to get better GHoN Replay Servers? Garena HoN player-base is growing every year and having 100% replays saved would be a very appreciated feature by both Garena HoN Players and editors. Plus it would definitely bring in more players for Garena.

My guess is that it was an AMAZING power throw BUT luck clearly played a big factor. I could see a double if he had sight - but to have hit the 3rd at top seemed like a "I hope so" at best. I'll admit, I LOVED that shot though haha.

I think its bugged or something right now because instead of saying download replay it just says check for file, and it isn't going away regardless of how long I wait.

Hey scumbagnetwork, how are you guys accessing the replays? I keep getting check for file even on matches I played 3 days ago.
Apparently, some servers are still unavailable to have replays like PH and Indo.

not all GHON players know that the replays are working because it hasn't been working for a long long time
the reason why there is no plays submitted from GHON is not all matches got videos replays and the service has been hon for less that a year and there is so many problems with it even i have few plays i want to submit but i cant coz there is no replays from those matchs
you guys took so long time to made this video, not saying that was tough, but I was expecteding for something really good.. what aluna and hag did were not a big play..
replays normally are available minutes after a game is over

Thats because not all GHoN server location have replays available, out of 5 region server around 3 only have download replay feature,
GHoN forums always got a lot of players screaming out to make all server avail the replay feature , ther're are probably a lot of good plays in GHoN, but the sad part is they can't dl the replay and show it to you guys =\
