The great thing about HON is, it doesn't matter how long you play the game, there still something you don't know or see things you never did in your lifetime of playing. That is just awesome and it keeps you on.

A Magebane anihilation is always a good clip. Especially when you make it look cool like that LOL.
Also, Magebane's ulti deals splash damage. So because he targeted Oogie who has a lot of mana (and was missing quite a bit) the damage is dealt for Oogie's manapool, but to all of the heroes in splash range. Also as xxlboyxx said, Midas popping that Hellflower on him, was probably the last little bit of damage that it took to get the kill on him.
Not sure if perfect timing or perfect execution, but the last clip was just brilliant :D

That mb sure was lucky as hell. That ice golem was too and that puzzlebox teleport was so troll

Magebane's ultimate does damage in a AOE around the main target, that's how everyone got damaged by him. Midas survived there for a millisecond, but died because of Magebane's passive aura once he used HellFlower.
Don't even like playing HoN nowadays...but jesus these videos are so epic.
The damage magebane's ulti does is based on the amount of mana missing. It'll deal 120% of the amount of mana missing, and casting it on an Oogie with a massive mana pool but no actual mana, it deals a shit ton of damage.

Yep. An oogie usually gathers a shit-ton of int, so if he is low on mana then he is an obvious choice to ult.

Magebane's ult works like this: You use your ult on someone, and per point of mana THAT HERO is missing is dealt in an AOE, and since Oogie stacks mana and was relatively low he dealt that in an AOE.

Great videos but I have to question the order, clip 1 should be swapped with clip 5 since Aluna is doing more than just clicking R even if the Magebane clip is quite calculated. Great job with the video your editing is getting really good!

Pharaoh was the only one who didn't take offensive action. Magmus stunned Prophet, Tempest autoatacked and MK activated his shrunken. They pretty much removed the speed buff instantly.
now that was one badass backdoor
i havent seen a pure 1 shot annihilation mb(the best ive seen is some quad kill and then 2-3 more hits)... and puzzle box is just pure teamwork and genius...
last play was so epic
his ult does dmg in an AOE around the target, based on the amount of mana the hero is missing (1,2 times the mana missing if i remember correct)
Well, sir. I want to see you have that kind of timing and foresight. Did I mention that he chose the one in the middle? so ALL will be affected? Releasing a Magebane SS isn't as easy as you think.

Since Oogie's a carry that NEEDS to have low mana so his passive can deal a crap ton of damage, it's very good to run out of mana, the problem is he didnt bother building a nullstone. Just get null-> 5 pickled brains and that's like 900+ damage in 1 hit when OOM

Midas died because he used hellflower on magebane. When u cast a skill when around him a percantage of the mana u used to cast the skill will be dealt to yourself, and that's what killed midas

it takes missing mana of just the one you targeted, in this case it was oogie with massive mana pool drained to nothing.
then it deals the same damage to ALL targets in an aoe.

actually magebane didn't 1 shot genocide, midas was trying to cast a spell and got hit by magebanes aura which killed him
what a smart team,they put arcane ring and puzzle box on the courier to put a creep on the team side so they can teleport on that creep using post haste and finish the game before the other team winXD
So plays of the week is now just people using abilities in everyday situations?

The less mana they have the more damage it does. at later stages for example a hero has 2k mana and he has none left. a magebane ult i believe will deal 120% of mana missing in a small AoE
