The fireworks in Melbourne were good but I have to Sydney's fireworks were just amazing they had these fireworks come off the bridge like it was flooding gold, absolutly incredible.
Looks insane from far away, like the entire city is alight with fireworks. I think the placement needs to be considered more but it's definitely getting better every year. Music choice was great, really abstract - more arty and alternative which is true to what Melbourne is about. They definitely need to incorporate more artistic styles like they do on White Night, that's what the city is really all about. Such a beautiful town!
Channel 7 coverage I was told was fantastic. I was actually at the fireworks and missed the show they had. Does anyone know how we can get a copy or view online the total coverage that began at 11:25pm including the Live crosses they had to they Treasury Gardens?.
O...M...G...THESE ARE THE BEST MELBOURNE FIREWORKS EVER!!!! Usually Sydney's are better but MELBOURNE HAS COME OF AGE. These make Sydney's look passe, old, and tired. GO MELBOURNE YAY.... :0)

2013 is good
If not try come to Sydney, because you will have a great view of fireworks at the CBD

Melbourne City is expanding rapidly.. Now I noe why we have so many different location for fireworks....
its weird in Brisbane we don't have very good fireworks during New Years our big fireworks display is riverfire during the brisbanefestival
