My parents have that model TV on the left they bought in the 70’s, still working. AWA I think is the brand. That tv got a lot of use in the 80’s and 90’s.
the thing I hate the most about it is that I was alive at this time and easily could have seen it end, even if i would have had no clue what was going on.

Once again Channel Seven were the only one to make any special effort to mark the analogue witch off. I wonder how many people actually saw it.
I'm suprised that the others just cut off during the programming. At least 7 made some kind of effort.

yes. I watched it to the last minute. I even asked if i could go into work later, just to watch it. such a sad way of the analogue side of life.
And the fact who watches TV at 9am in the morning anyway.

yes kiddies Neighbours started life on channel 7 then they got smart and axed it
Neighbours was then moved over to Network 10 and in the first half of 2022, it was axed after Channel 5 decided to end investing money in the program.

BBC also axed Neighbours, and moved it to Channel 5.
