Sri Venkataramana Temple, Kallianpur is one of the oldest temples situated in Udupi district of coastal Karnataka. The Simhasana of the Sanctum Sanctorum in the temple has three sections: The upper section contains the main diety of Sri Venkataramana along with Sridevi and Bhudevi. The middle section also consists of Sri Venkataramana along with Sridevi and Bhudevi. The lower section consists of the Utsav murthi of Lord Gopalakrishna which is generally taken out for pete utsav and other celebrations.
With the blessings of residing deity, Lord Venkataramana and the revered gurus of our GSB Samaj, a short video is presented that has some important details of Sri Venkataramana Temple, Kallianpur. In this video, respected managing trustee of the temple, Shri Ananta Padmanabha Kini provides few insights about the temple which includes information on esteemed kulavis of the temple, important festivals/events in our temple, past managing committees who were responsible for development of the temple, the Yatri-nivas facility and the upcoming Jeernodahara program. SV Temple Kallianpur has large number of Kulaavis who are spread across different parts of the country and the world. The main idea behind presenting this video is that it reaches all our esteemed Kulavis who are settled outside and they get to know all important details of our temple.
