I would like to say, I’m growing a Yerba mansa, I live in Arizona, I notice she a fighter plant, she’ll grow in any circumstance. Maybe water around it instead directly, I believe, the dirty water we have, damages the shield of the leaf to protect it from suns heat, my plants don’t have direct sunlight but has a nice shade area away from sun and , they still get sun damage. However Yerba is thriving with this heat. Great job I learn a lot from this vid.

Thanks for sharing, especially their natural habitat(s). I'm growing this plant in a couple of different settings. Most successful one is indoors in a warm room on a south facing window, almost unstoppable, constantly sending out runners and blooming, big fragrant leaves. Those are growing in water filled with mostly cow manure. I also grow a few on a northeastern balcony, those are much slower and they have smaller leaves. It's weird seeing 50 of their seeds in a package, every flower pod when dry gives about a hundred or more seeds each, it's a really generous plant in every way.

Do you fully zip lock the bag, or give a air flow.?

Do you keep it around for ornamental purposes as landscaping or do you eat them?

I never knew you could eat them or how medicinal this plant is. I was at the garden center saw it and fell in love with the plant and flowers. And all this time I've been cutting it back and just dumping it in the compost pile. Not till I've been watching clips on youtube did I know I have a tresure plant.

My central yerba mansa is small still but it's already sending out a runner! I never had a plant that sends out runners like that before, very interesting. You can eat the fresh leaves to lessen your produce bill if nothing else.

@@trayc1378 I got mine from Michael Cottingham at Voyage Botanical, 10 months ago. They are doing well. He sent plants, not seeds. 🌱 Good luck 🍀

Some plants are adapted to fire so the seeds will be resistant to heat

How is your Joshua Tree seedling, sweet annie, and goldenrod seedlings are doing?

I'm going to wait for Josh to develop more of a "trunk" before posting an update, and maybe wait for another Joshua Tree National Park trip to get some more footage. Sweet Annie is getting big fast and the goldenrod is finally getting some size, although it's slow.

When I was watching this video, I saw a goldenrod plant empty by itself at a big pot, I saw your passion fruit vine in the background is doing fabulous.
