I purchased one of these when I changed from disposables to DE shaving. I have had no alignment issues. I was leery of spending a lot of $ on a razor in case I didn't care for the experience, but I am glad I bought this. While I am still working on my technique, the razor with Personna blue blades (have not been brave enough yet to try the 2 Feather blades included) performs very well. In India its being sold around 1k on Amazon, which I think is costly as it is made out of plastic......according to the blade gap I can compare it with Romer-7 viceroy, which is lesser than its half around Rs. 450, full brass construction.....i using viceroy and gives me a comfortable shave....actually I use so many razors but yes romer-7 is a good challenge for feather if someone tries....

Pretty mild - easier to use in the morning/in a rush without nicking your face. You can ease the tension on the TTO screw to make it more aggressive by increasing the blade exposure (this also changes the blade angle slightly), or maybe add some shim on top of the blade before closing it.
