You're thinking of .50 BMG. The Beowulf cartridge is like half as long, and therefore nowhere near as powerful. It's just the good ol' 7.62 with a fatter bullet
You know what's worse? The .50 Beowulf have Magpul™ BAD Lever® (Battery Assist Device), which allows the manipulation of the bolt release with the right hand, and he still pulls the charging handle.

This reminds me of one time when I was playing Mav and a Maestro ran out and tried killing me in spawn. I downed him then ran up to him, tea bagged him a couple times then bust out the Torch and lit his face on fire, killing him. Spawnkeeping is dirty play, I regret nothing.

Btw I would not recommend proning while opening up hatches when there is soft floors around it, its an easy nitro kill for enemies.
As a closeted gun nut myself, I love that you get down to the brass tacks with guns and functionality because his M4's bolt catch not being used is annoying.
The 50 cal Beowulf is common at checkpoints, it’s incredibly useful at punching through the less important parts of the engine and stopping it in its tracks, it’s very useful in the Middle East where most cars that don’t listen to commands are usually really slow misses looking to blow you up

Fun fact:the reason it has a 10 round capacity is because you use regular 30 round mags and each Beowulf round takes the space of two 5.56 rounds.
so as a maverick main i was really looking forward to this vid.... finnally know what to do with hatches but im here mainly cus of the guns i personally just love using the suppresor on the m4 for obvious reasons its in his damn operator art and that alone creates the problem with the grip and sight i love the angled especially after they nerfed his switch back to gun time and then the problem is acog is pretty tough to use hence the 1x sight but sometimes not having an acog is just pure suicide leading to me constantly using angled supressor angled and after several hours i can actually use it effectively in all honesty i would suggest it to just about everyone cus it fits my much sneakier role of maverick as well as sending the fun lvls trough the roof and no matter what you say his AR15 is definetly the most badasss gun in the game hit a headshot with that thing and tell me theres a gun that gives you more satisfaction than that i dare you.... and das it have a good one

Also, can we talk about how the M4 looks like a regular AR but the AR-15.50 looks like an M4. The M4 could have a SOPMOD Block II kit on it, but it just doesn't look right for some reason.
I’d run and never come back if I was walking around a swamp in the south and see a family - each of them with a .50 AR.

Well, if you didn’t know .50 BW was a thing before maverick was added, maybe knowing that 500 Auto Max is a thing as well might come as a surprise. It’s basically Smith and Wesson 500 Magnum, but with the rim milled off so it can chamber and be shot out of a rifle. Ya know, for the people who want to keep their wrists when shooting and what not.

One of my favorite (and only thing i do when i play Maverick [as a Maverick main]) is to run off by myself, lay prone on a door way, blow torch a small hole in the bottom corner that i can crawl through, and pull off the big flank entry frags with a suppressed M4.
You get at least one kill on an unsuspecting enemy every game.
I love maverick but my teammates never go along with what I'm doing
Example: once I was slowly and silently breaching with him when an ash comes along and blows a hole in the wall I was peeking through about to get a good angle on the enemy, she also blew away my will to live and half my health

I find that (playing on console) you kinda have to ADS the torch to make it work. When it’s not ADS, it will often miss tiny spots on the wall if you don’t have the steady hand of a god. When you ADS though, it seems to lock on to the wall and move at the right pace to cut it.
I have maverick and for those who just started using him I have some tips,
- Don’t use his ability without some distraction his ability can still be heard though if you thermite a wall it might help you use him
- get ready for a lot of head shots one of the main reasons I stopped using him because if they heard your torch your a simple headshot
- If no teammate is near the objective and only you are make a peephole but don’t peak it if you do you will get head shotted
- Be patient do not just use him on the site out of the blue his gadget becomes more effective when the match draws near to an end.
- Do not use the first primary weapon use the second one

About adsing. When you ads the torch you walk with the perfect speed, so if you hold both of your mouse buttons and walk straight without moving mouse, you end up having the perfect straight line without wasting any fuel. And it works while rappelling as well

I use the 15.50 almost exclusively. It just...feels good. The sound. The recoil. The feedback in general is just satisfying. I hate its small capacity, but I have learned to deal with it.
A 12 minute long video for an hard to play, hard breacher.
Quick tip with maverick make a simi circle on the side of the reinforced wall and you can vault through instead of doing the two lines witch uses heels of fuel time and a breach charge but the Circe takes not too long and you don’t need to blow up the soft wall.

Little extra tip, (I'm a mav main btw) if you're having a hard time controlling the recoil of the M4, the best attachments in my opinion to control the recoil is an angled grip (or vertical if you're still having issues), muzzle brake, and whatever sight you prefer (I use personally the acog most of the time, rarely the holo )

I actually do reload the torch quite often. If you’re in a tense situation with enemies breathing down your neck sometimes you have to reload when you’re low on fuel. You sometimes get to the point where you don’t have enough fuel in the canister left to damage a wall so you reload to not have to use that waste of fuel and instead get back to work.

Bruh... never rappel when maverick tricking, cus you're gonna get a c4 in your face and never torch the bottom while proned.
Crouch and torch the bottom at an angle, that way it's impossible for the defenders to shoot back at you.
And for console players ALWAYS ads while torching walls, and DON'T ads for hatches. On pc you should only ads if you're new to maverick tricking to make it easier.
Bonus tip: be a 100% sure you heard the two corners of the reinforcement drop when torching the top, then take a step back and visually check if the top is done properly and only afterwards start mavericking the bottom.
Dont get me wrong, I love your vids gregor, but this maverick tutorial is highly flawed 😔
The rappel I can get but that’s still rather helpful especially on Maps like Club House and K-anal. Also ads on Console is just like PC my guy, It’s slower and inefficient. Yeah Gregor has some flaws but who doesn’t, this is the general rundown of Maverick not an advanced guide.

And you ads on console cus joysticks are more inconsistent so if you dont ads and go a bit too fast you often skip over a part
Heisenberdy I know you’re not shitting on Gregor, but as a console and PC player myself, ads torch still has the same problems as PC and vice versa as I can go to fast on PC and not get the wall. So NEVER ADS regardless of console and PC, the torch Will was gas because the melting speed is really fast on Maverick. I play Maverick on both console and PC and never ads the torch and Gregor is pretty spot on with his Maverick video. I’ve used the tips from this video and it generally helps me be a more effective maverick. He is usually right on the money or close. But whoever says ADS the torch on console is really dumb because yes Joysticks are more inconsistent than mouse and keyboard but usually it comes down to how fast you shimmy and how close you are to the wall. Also Joysticks can even have a bit more accuracy occasionally or appear to at least.

3 shots is need so when you finish mav tricking but your ash or zofia asks you to fuck off you can use the ar 15 to break the remaining soft wall
Just a correction. When he runs the mag dry the bolt locks to the rear automatically. All he should have to do when he puts the mag in is hit the the bolt release button located just above the mag well.

Honestly his DMR is great for shooting trough murder holes, you dont need to get super close to have enough space to compensate for the full auto M4 and you dont need to move arround needlessly to find a headshot and risk getting tapped yourself, you make a hole, step back, aim with the big magnification scope and kill a guy even if you just see his foot

The .50 was designed for anti material such as cars. It was meant to be able to disable a vehicle while being in a small, portable, and easy to use package. Hog hunting was a side benefit.

It can burn through almost anything, including gadgets
Examples: bullet proof cameras, Maestros evil eyes, and deployable shields
Its is tactical. At my understanding, the 50 bad boy is a powerful round but subsonic, which is good for "tactical porpuses". Also it can be loaded in a standard magazine i think.
First off, your first how to videos changed me from dropping siege to learning the game and bringing me to plat 2. But the thing about “bolt releases” is that they aren’t to release the bolt. They are bolt catches, or slide catches for pistols, they are to lock the action and you are to reciprocate the action manually to release it from the catch. The main reason is because friction. The more you use a bolt catch as a release, it’ll scratch more and more until it’s dulled over and doesnt work anymore and needs to be replaced. For service weapons that get used way more than civilian owned weapons, this is a huge thing when it comes to keeping the weapon system functional as long as possible.
