The voice makes it feel like Papyrus he was forced to mature which fits here.
Help from the void has a more joyful and lively Papyrus voice which makes him feel more innocent which fits with it.
Basically what I’m saying is that you guys did an excellent job with the voice acting.

I'm guessing this is the choosen remake you said you said you were making a while back.
Gotta say, it sounds awesome! I do have to say that while Darby may not sound like how you'd expect Papyrus to sound 99% of the time, that he was still able to give a good bit of weight to the lyrics whenever he sung.
All in all, fantastic remake.
