- Looooong overdue recap video that I've been wanting to post since last year. Apologies that it is mostly posted clips and basically vertically filmed... Haven't quite done much here on my TH-cam channel sadly. Hope that would change somehow this year!
Here's a bit of a reflection for 2023:
A big transitional year as far as life goes - namely getting married 🤵👰 / moving into a new home 🏡 (basically full adult mode now). Apart from life stuff, this year I competed in different sports like Ninja Warrior and Weightlifting! There were also a lot of lil pk comps that I participated in which was super fun.
In terms of Parkour, we had our first Parkour Park in Singapore which was very refreshing. 2023 was also one year where I did not pursue a video project proper, and kinda took training one week at a time, didn't think too long term and basically just maintained my fitness mainly in the weight room for the most part. This felt odd to me, but looking back at this video now, I really don't have much to complain about. There were still some awesome challenges I've gotten around to completing. Health wise, I would say I've been doing pretty well apart from niggling shoulder/elbow type problems (from the new sport of weightlifting), the previously problematic knees are feeling healthier than ever 💪
Moving into the 30s now, I'm guessing things will slow down even more. That's not exactly a bad thing - slow down still means moving forward, just at a lighter pace. I do miss endeavouring in video projects (not like this vertical insta compilation kinda thing 😪) and setting and achieving big goals and all of that, but energy is sparse right now. Mainly, all I hope to achieve some sort of optimal balance, the yin and the yang... truthfully, that's going to be the biggest challenge of them all now.
2024, I'm coming for you!!!
