Recording doesn't do their sound justice. You have to experience their live to fully know how beautiful it is.

This band rules hard. I love how low-key and effortless they look while playing this crazy shit.
Wata loves her wah.... therefore I love Wata..... how amazing is it that all these Japanese bands sound better live than in the studio? Add Boris to that ever growing list.

I saw Wata smile. It was bizarre. I didn't think she was able to smile.
She smiled and bowed when I saw them. We bowed back.
There are some pictures of Wata with Buzz Osborne of the Melvins (who wrote the song "Boris" that was the inspiration for their name) and she is smiling from ear to ear

Great band to see live! Saw them with the Melvins and they crushed it.
Just back from seeng them play Pink at the Casbah (their first stop on this Pink album tour). Boris is what you'd say jaw-droppingly good. Wata so so cool ... GO SEE this Pink tour, if possible. it will be worth any effort! LUCKILY, Boris plays Denver the weekend I'm there for summer vacation... I get to see another stop of this killer tour.

They were great in DC! I wasn't a big fan of the new record until I heard how great they sounded live. Pink and Statement and Vomitself were staples, obviously

i have seen boris 3 times live, and always in ny, and if i'm honest, i was always the bastard who tried to start up the pit. i shudder to think how it must be when they tour thru DC.
