- Scenes from S7E08 & S3E07 stitched together of the first nuclear apocalypse, setting the story of the entire series. Becca realizes in horror and watches helplessly from the space station Polaris as her first AI, ALIE 1, has broken out and launched nuclear missiles across the world. Meanwhile the founder of the Second Dawn cult, Bill Cadogan, evacuates his wife Grace and daughter Callie to the bunker. As Callie and Grace fly towards the bunker, they witness the nuclear strike impacting Washington DC.

Alie broke through lighthouse encryption and hacked Omaha at least 10 minutes before the commander said goodbye to his family on the ground. Once again its pretty accurate. The show was good about only doing things within the realm of possibility. Though fans not as dedicated tend to miss the small details.
They would be completely blind from looking at the blast directly with the naked eye

Nice to see that while they were down there The Ark was still 12 separate stations and when Becca finds the girl outside after she got out of the pod then Polaris has been blown out of the sky by Alpha Station and the 12 stations are becoming 1

Would love to see you make more videos of clips stitched together if the prequel gets greenlit. They will show flashbacks from the characters right before and during the nuclear apocalypse so you will have more content to put in this video.

is this really the number 1 priority for viewers these days? Like, the acting was horrible and the explosion was entirely unrealistic. Do you see how they look at the explosion which is, what 10km away? They would be blinded for hours just after a milisecond of the explosion, but obviously not in the show because 'lol emotional moment' more important... I didn't feel a thing for either of them throughout the scene so it failed even on that front.
I'm kind of glad they decided to leave earth and make their own fantasy world where they don't have to listen to basic laws of physics and can go full nuts with all the craziness the show turned into these last seasons.
I don’t think it really matters on “bad” acting and certain opinions. All I’m saying is I like how the plot is and I like how this person combines these two scenes and yeah it’s unrealistic but so what, it’s a tv show lol.

Kinda small explosion for a single warhead carrier missile
well its an ICBM, they arent big but its a bunch of small nukes inside a missle which makes them more dangerous because more spread out damage.
The 100 is the best show ever created in the history of the world. Nothing will ever top it.

If it helps, that same actor played a character named travis on Continuum and he was from the future in 2077 where he got sent to the past right before he and others were gonna get executed for terrorism. When he makes it to the past he unalives all these gang member leaders and names himself the new boss. Total badass

@@J040PL7 lots of people could survive if the governments take mass amounts of people into bunker. Im not saying billions but maybe like 1 million or a few couple hundred thousand if lots of countries make bunkers. Realistically the fallout would only last like 10-30 years so they could probably survive.
@@notj7506 it would take several months for our current governments to get a million people anywhere, specifically with the political polarisation we have right now. If s fall-out happens, a couple thousand people who guaranteed their safety on their own would survive, and that's it.

Could be a possibility that in the 12 previous spacial stations were a few members of Second Down? Or in Mount Weather Shelter? Or in the old continent, I mean, if people was walking near the pyramids of Egypt in the second year Praymfaia sure existed bunkers in China where A few humans stay all this time. Surely even they never leave the bunkers as Mount Weather people was doing, even we can imagine that they people survive the Second Prayimfaia, the Democles boom, and they trascendend inside the bunkers.
Tbh I doubt that anyone from the second dawn or Mount weather shelter were on the Ark if all members of those groups either died or went into their bunkers. I dont know how people survived in Egpyt especially since Egypt doesnt have the money or materials to make a bunker to survive a nuclear war, let alone 97 years of radiation and keeping the people inside alive. The only places I can imagine that can create a bunker like that is India and China and both of those are far from egypt so you basically just pointed out a plothole.
Another possibility is one arc pod somehow went off course and landed on the otherside of the planet
cadogan had contacts on space stations, likely followers of the cult. Regarding the bunkers, I believe that only the one shown was only the second dawn because he sold everything to build it, but I believe that there were private bunkers and other governments around the world. I saw on a page that probably those pyramids or could be the ones from Egypt, but those survivors must be anyone who survived somewhere and over the years their descendants were spreading just like it was with the clans in the series.
Call's mother probably said that there were people looking for bunkers all over the world, so surely in other countries and continents they survived in bunkers.

Even though they say the missiles came from China if you was pause it you could clearly see the East Coast which means those missiles are actually Russia
Keep in mind that Allie wanted a global nuclear exchange, so Russian missiles being launched still wouldn't be inaccurate in this scenario. Also given that this scene takes places in the 2050s it's certainly possible that China would be amongst the countries that had subs with nuclear missiles. (they already have nuclear powered subs they just aren't armed with nuke warheads)
