To those who don't understand, there are 3 relevant units to consider here: 1) Novation Remote 25 - Hardware midi controller WITHOUT a synth engine - NOT used here 2) Novation Remote 25 Audio - Hardware controller WITH synth engine - This is what he is using. It is effectively an X-station 3) Novation X-Station - Hardware controller WITH synth engine, effectively the same as #2. This is what most people are familiar with.
Thanks so much for clearing that up. I have just bought model number 2 the same as this video. So mine is the same as the X-station model? The one's labelled 'ReMOTE 25 AUDIO must have been early X-station models...just labelled differently. They sound great and are a lot of fun. I'm still learning how to use it. Keybed is nice too, better than the junk on the Korg Wavestate!

@@germanshepherdlover2613 same hardware. There’s a free official utility from notation to make the firmware 1to 1 with x-station.

yes the sounds come with the x station.. it can also run separatly to control VSTI's for production
So the remote 25 needs an external speaker hooked up? No sound from it without doing ?
