Pikes are MUCH longer than spears, and definitely not to be used in any sort of mobility or hand to hand combat. They exist solely to deal with cavalry and hold positions. Those suckers are LONG, way longer than most video games, movies or TV shows represent them as.

Starting with the English is a good idea. They’re pretty straightforward and have a lot of defensive bonuses and farm bonuses, so they feel safe and don’t have to move out for food
I recommend at least 16gb of RAM. aoe4 is one of the few games that really requires more memory than average because of the large amount of units each player makes, and all the data/values and location for each individual unit (my game used to crash before I upgraded from 8gb, when I played 3v3s and 4v4s)
Congratulations on the hair transplant my man had one myself about 7 months ago so happy with it now sure you know this but take your finasteride it really helps or the transplant won't look good for long.

The moment he managed to take both waters he really should have first focused on preserving his eco lead by preventing Demu's king+knights attacks by building barracks and producing spears along keshiks. He had the info that Demu had no real archer infrastructure, and that would mean Demu would have to himself transition under pressure. By not doing that, he allowed Demu to harrass and lower the eco spread, and transition on his own decision after Cat invested huge amounts in defense with cavalry (yeah, that cavalry midgame did practically nothing in attack, just defended vs knights). When Demu arrived with crossbows/knight Cat was in huge problems and didn't manage to get out if it with own crossbows as Demu had time to longbow too...
Iff you look back through my early comments I hated when you digress and rant but that stuff about the make up, that was funny that was good, it's the most I've liked you.
