    New to your channel and I love how you have explained the Genie +. Ive never seen any other youtuber (even the big ones) actually go through it properly as it all looks very overwhelming so thank you x

      Aww thank you for watching! And no worries at all. One of my number 1 questions I get asked on Instagram about Disney is always Genie plus & virtual queues, so i thought I’d try and go into more detail about it! I remember feeling really confused myself before I used it, and don’t get wrong I HATE paying for it, but it’s actually not hard to use! So hopefully this has helped ease peoples minds a bit! Xx

    Hi loving these vlogs which Sheraton did you stay in and how far from Disney was it? Xx

    • @kimberlys_journey
      @kimberlys_journey  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you!! I’m glad you’re enjoying them!
      We stayed at the Sheraton on international drive, when you leave the hotel take a left and it’s like 10-15 min drive to Disney, depending which Disney park! And then it’s 10 minutes to the right to get to universal! Xx

    Hi great to see your new vlog series.
    Who did you book your car through to get that great price.
    Thanks Jason

    • @kimberlys_journey
      @kimberlys_journey  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching! So in the caption of my travel day video I included a link to the two places I book car through. The last two trips we’ve used the “Alamo partner site” link - best prices are usually 4-6 weeks prior to your trip, but we still got a great price booking this last minute!
      DFCH is the other link, you can get a price on their website, or email - andy@discountfloridacarhire.co.uk
      You can get an offline price, which is always loads cheaper than their website!

    Flying home tomorrow. Been coming since 1989. The Disney Genie/ Genie Plus/ Lightning Lane system is an utter pain and can ruin a day out. The Universal Express pass system beats it hands down. Disney just need to suck it up and do something similar!

    • @kimberlys_journey
      @kimberlys_journey  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely agree, universals system is much better. Just the price not so much, which I think a lot of people wouldn’t be happy with. But if Disney linked it to the deluxe hotels that could be a huge perk.
      Hope you enjoyed your trip, other than the genie plus annoyance!

      @@tb6689art I’ve never done July or August, I’ve always been put off because of the heat/ crowds.
      We are hoping to do Disneyland California next year and that will be in August!

    The prices are astronomic.. $80 for you both in the cheesecake factory ( which I love but being diabetic I now avoid) must have put you over budget and when you factor in our abysmal exchange rate that’s around £73 for your meal plus the day entrance for the parks at way over $140 the US is pricing itself out of the UK tourist market. Yes there will always be lovers of the theme parks who are willing to pay those prices but I went in May expecting to stay approx 14 nights, I came home after 9. I was lucky enough being ex airline staff to be able to chop and change my journey but I feel sorry for any families whose kids really want to visit Florida. I was going to go to Universal but at $140 for a day pass plus parking and food it’s just not worth it, to compensate for this I went to get an ice cream cone but even that was over $12 plus tax so your looking at a price of over £11 for an ice cream cone. I didn’t as i wouldn’t have enjoyed it despite the fact I was boiling hot. Am not tight in any way but my money was hard got just too throw it away. So it’s looking like Spain etc for any future trips as your not being mugged round every corner.
    Loving your blog as your so well suited and enjoy the same things/food etc. PS loving the Ferrari shades

    • @kimberlys_journey
      @kimberlys_journey  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really is so expensive over there now, we spent around $170 that day, we do go over it in the next vlog, we were still within our $150-$200 budget. But I absolutely agree, it’s really starting to price people out. My brother is a family of 5 and we are all going next year, but I’m not sure when / if they will be able to return again as the prices are just to steep.
      We’re lucky (well depending how you view lucky) that there is just the two of us, so we have two incomes, and no one else to pay for
      Thank you for watching though! Daniel is very happy with his Ferrari glasses lol!

    • @davidcorbett62
      @davidcorbett62 ปีที่แล้ว

      He looks it, am sure if it was very dull he would still be wearing them lol.
      I don’t have to worry too much re the airfare but even hotel prices are getting outside of most peoples affordability. Don’t get me wrong I love Florida it’s beaches how it’s geared to tourist visits etc and of course the magic of Disney and the other parks
