- This was a fun random thing I started a while back. I don't know if there exist any more dubs of Moonlight Densetsu than these.
My personal favourites are the Thai, Korean, Malay and Tagalog versions. I never watched Sailor Moon when I grew up, but the Swedish dub is still somewhat nostalgic to me.
TRIVIA:
¤ The Brazilian and (Latin only?) Spanish intros are basically using the same lyrics altered in Portuguese and Spanish respectively.

I grew up with the English version but also know the Japanese and Latin American Spanish versions almost by heart.
I really like the alt. Russian, Thai, Korean and the Cantonese Chinese versions. And of course... the Swedish one, since I grew up with it. It's pure nostalgia for me xD

yo vivo en España, pero en el canal que yo lo veía la emitían era siempre en Japones o incluso en instrumental, en castellano fue cuando se empezó a emitir una cadena privada y la verdad no lo solía ver por ese canal, por eso estoy mas familiarizado con el japones, pero me gusta igualmente

Both Russian versions listed here are FANDUB. Openings and endings of the SM series that aired on Russian TV-channels TNT and 2x2 in early 2000s had no lyrics and were just instrumental versions of Moonlight Densetsu by Dali (OP) and Heart Moving (ED) in seasons 1-5 except 3. In the third season we at last heard the original openings and endings in Japanese.
And about Castillan... a year ago I saw a video that was called something like "SM opening as it was emitted on TV" in Spanish. It was the second season OP and it also had no lyrics... suprisingly!
Thanks for the video! Most of all I liked Indonesian/Malay, Ch. Mandarin, Greek and Latin versions (hope I haven't missed anything). And original Japanese, of course!

Brazilian Portuguese actually have two versions, due to different dubs. One from 1996 (featured in this video) and other from 2000.
I don't know why but japanese was my #1 until I listened the hebrew version just last week now my ranking has changed even more after more versions.

***** well yeah but the Japanese song has a meaning and goes in depth into the story. It basically explains the story of Sailor Moon how she is the moon princess and her love got separated etc etc . I don't like the English version so I obviously don't think it's good because like I said before, they didn't even try to keep in touch with the original. They even changed the story for gurfs sake! Haruka and Michiru cousins!?!? Umm no.. and the voice actors aren't good either. That's just my opinion though, I don't like english dubs..
***** the JP version explains more of the story of the Moon princess and kingdom while the english version explains more about the fighting thing which just doesn't appeal to me. I just don't like it being changed, even if it is changed I would've liked it better if they tried to keep at east 10% of the original meaning. Sure the english one is cute and all but I still prefer the JP.
***** It would've been great if it was translated it would've made things a lot easier. The english theme does describe Sailor Moon but the JP describes her as a person and as a princess which is what I like but I can see why you like it

well, it's an ooooooold movie, i've forgot the voice of the dub singer, so i can say surely this is Malay vers or Indo vers.but i remember the lyric, always sang it when i was little :)
I think it was a partnership between Malaysian and Indonesian production houses. Malaysia and Indonesia were really friendly to each other in the 90s and each TV station in Malaysia has an Indonesian station as it’s production partner.

Heart Moving sounds better in spanish than it does japanese, the Mexican studio that dubbed Sailor Moon slayed SOOO HARD! Actually they slayed hard on dubbing many of the 80s/90s animes

As a musician I can say that the Japanese version is the best because the lyrics were written while composing this melody. If you listen closely every melody screams out the lyrics a bit. When most of the lyrics and melody are finished, the musician tries out different lyrics and progressions until the best version is found.

Actually, there are two Brazilian versions. The first one is in your video, dubbed by Gota Mágica in 1995, the second is this one SAILOR MOON ABERTURA BRASILEIRA (CARTOON) dubbed by BKS in 2000. The lyrics are very similar though.
