It really is a very pretty ship, in a classy, understated (to a degree) way Fraser. We very nearly had to stop recording due to the laughing at one point, but we pushed through🤣
Thank Peter. Azamara for Xmas will be amazing we are sure, which one are you going on and where? Oceania did have some pretty good prices for Europe next year at around £2200 per person for a 7/8 night cruise, however the UK sailings are VERY expensive at nearly double that.
@@SuiteNatured we are doing Onwards 23rd Dec it's going around the Caribbean, few ports we haven't been to but we just wanted somewhere warm and relaxing as that will be our 3rd Xmas at sea after Antarctica/South America last year and Med this year. Those prices aren't bad, we paid £2100 per person for 2 weeks inside room which includes all tips, drinks, WiFi, laundry etc. Balconies are 3 times as much but we are never in the room so stopped booking them a while ago.
Thanks for that! I thought concierge level and above had access to the private outdoor area with the clamshell loungers and the hot tub? I had access on Oceania's Riviera as a concierge level passenger in June. Just wondered.
You seemed to have a good time on this visit, is it just me or was there a distinct increase in the number of double entendres in this episode? Also, don’t you think you aught to put “ad” in the description? Free coffee is free coffee after all 🤣
That ship looks lovely. I couldn't help noticing on the menus that there wasn't much choice for vegetarians if you can't eat mushrooms. I guess they'd be able to offer something else. It looks like an expensive cruise line. Thanks for showing us.
We are sure they would cook you up something special Joan. The buffet looked to have some good vegetarian and vegan choices, which was nice to see. It is a more expensive cruise line for sure, but the european ones for next year (not the UK ones) are quite reasonable (relatively) at around £2000-£2500 a person a week, which is similar to Celebrity or MSC Yacht Club.
@@SuiteNatured Thanks for the reply. The problem for us is that the airfares from Perth would cost as much as the cruise! It's difficult sometimes to live in the most remote capital city on earth. Do you think you will be sailing with Oceania soon?
We know all about the airfares from Perth Joan, Mark's Brother moved there 12 years ago. Last time we went we cruised into Freemantle from Singapore, which ended up cheaper for the cruise fare (not including cocktails) than the flights from UK to Perth.
Based on what I've seen, I would probably say maybe. I think if I saw what it was like on a full cruise, I would have a better idea. 🤔 When you left the ship, did you have any feelings of regret on having to leave, or did you have enough and wanted to find a pub and have something to eat and drink?
We would love to give it a go, but can't say we were desperate to stay on when we got off it, but then again, it had been a long day, and we still had a six hour drive home, so that probably didn't help either.
The ship was very nice Richard, but that smoking venue inside, and not closed off, seemed such a stange choice, especially post re-fit where they could have chanced that.
Wow - this ship really does look gorgeous. I have to say, I absolutely LOVED you guys laughing on the way round - you had me chuckling along with you!

Yipeeee, a new video ! Cheers guys ! 🥰
Cheers Denise. Hope you are well ❤️
Y’all seem like you’d be fun to share a table at dinner with on a cruise!
You can share a dinner table with us on a cruise anytime Michelle
1980s boys bedroom. Spot on observation 😂
he he he.
Now I can’t unsee that
What is the cabin number\category of the suite you filmed on the Marina?
It's concierge and above level cabins that are allowed in the spa terrace area.
Thanks Greg, that Spa Terrace really was lovely
Looks very nice. We have booked Azamara for next Xmas for a smaller ship experience. Oceania looks far more expensive, but a much newer ship.

Yes
The ice cream is called Humphry Slocombe. It's amazing.
We really did miss out not trying some Greg, guess that means we need to go on an Oceania cruise sometime.

Definately for us northeners! buffet, not bar stool.
Absolutely a buffet Susan :)
Have you booked yet?
Ha Ha Ha, not yet, but we are considering
Is this something you would look forward to cruise on?
It is something we would absolutely consider Steve but no immediate plans.
Is it something you'd consider Steve or already have?

Looks like an OLD ship that got a paintjob. Smoking venue inside? No thanks.

Thats okay...more space for the smokers...😂
