    Very good tip, I’d also recommend to keep the back long and extended, so every breath in I try to create a straight spine and go down on the breath out. Yoga is teaching stretching techniques like this too while training your breath and muscles.
    Thank you very much for this video and for sharing all of your wisdom! Really really cool and helpful videos!

      Adding on - curving/hunching over does not mean you have reached a deeper depth. You're giving up something else (pelvic tilt may not be correct, compromising the lower back etc) to do so.
      Be aware of your technique. Don't be super aggressive pushing a stretch unless you know you can handle it. Warm up your body before hand (eg 20 jumping jacks, short run etc).

    • @MC-nn1og
      @MC-nn1og 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was wondering this exact question about whether or not you should keep your spine straight, similar to a squat and such and just reach however far you can while doing so. Thanks for the info!

Like I stumbled across your indian step video and realised that was a step my street teacher showed us but couldn't explain how to do the leg circle haha, but now I get it 😃

    Static stretching reduces performance when done at the beginning of an exercise session, dynamically stretch

    • @VincaniTV
      @VincaniTV  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Bboy Corrosive yup yup. Def for when you are trying to relax after a hard practice

    • @scottiZepidemic
      @scottiZepidemic 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That study was done for runners and other sport performance athletes. Where they needed raw power. I don’t think it applies to bboys as much. Stretch our legs before a hard power session will dramatically make it easier to drill power with your best form. Dynamic stretching our shoulders and wrist would probably be better tho.

    • @BboyCorrosive
      @BboyCorrosive 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Scott Anouthai hmm depends on the form. Lotta people think straight legs is good form, personally i think a slight bend looks way more raw

    • @scottiZepidemic
      @scottiZepidemic 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bboy Corrosive yeah I’m saying, for anyone. Stretching their legs in general will make it easier to train power. Whether your legs are straight or bent, spending time in a static stretch will help. Bboy pocket spends over an hour static stretching before every training session and his speed and power is nuts. I think unless you are trying to sprint, jump, and/or do any sport to that requires simple force, we should be static stretching for whatever moves we want.

    • @bboywolf
      @bboywolf 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bboy Corrosive if you actually did stretching research you'd know that dynamic stretching after 30 seconds of static would remove most of the negative effects not to mention gymnasts who do similar movements do static holds before hand because of what the other commenter said, form. It all depends on the type of sport/physical activity

    Nice tutorial! Thank you so much!
    I wanted to know that, is there any technique to get splits in less time?
    I sit making a V shape with my legs during the split exercise that you showed 😅😅

    • @rithikdutta5525
      @rithikdutta5525 6 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      A.N.V.Y
      Practice the Split stretching exercise against a wall, and make it an objective to move your body as close as possible to the wall by stretching your legs, and using your hands to push the ground from behind you to support your stretching posture, and of course also holding the stretch position.
      The closer your body gets to the wall the better and more flexible your split will be.
      (While doing the exercise, keep your spine straight, and make sure your knee pits touch the ground)

    • @rithikdutta5525
      @rithikdutta5525 6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Also don't rush and injure your muscle or ligaments -_-')
      Take your time with it, no matter how many days it takes. Hold your maximum stretch posture for 2-4 minutes , take some rest and continue the process.

    • @rithikdutta5525
      @rithikdutta5525 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Mr0Faziro how is he going to rank them? Because obviously 'cooler' moves would be more difficult to learn. Also breaking is all about style. If you can make a really simple move look better than another more difficult thing. There is also your own opinion where you may think that something looks better than another.
