I've been watching your videos nonstop because I'm getting some eggs for hatching next week! I decided to start raising quail because I'm starting my falconry apprenticeship this fall and a lot of falconers feed their birds quail meat. So a great way to make money from quail is to sell whole frozen quail to local falconers!
Happy New Year Kenny from New Zealand. Hens for eggs are $20 here. Males are $5. Hatching eggs are between $5 to $14 a dozen. I started with $5. hatching eggs.. Also fly tying anglers will buy feathers to make their flies. The prettier the bird the bigger price, I'd say.
Clean the bones and skulls with BSF Larvea or those buffalo beetles. Then feed the larvae to the birds. Whole quail wings are used for hunting dog training too.
Make compost for gardeners. Feathers for fly tying. Use other parts to grow black soldier flies. You can sell the flies as chicken feed or fishing bait. Their poop is good for gardening
You can make bloodmeal and bonemeal for plants, the brain matter can be used in hide tanning possibly, izzards, heart, liver, etc can be eaten by pets in raw diets, feet can be skinned and cooked by people, you can use the innards to fish for crab. These are more ideas.
Thank you for the support and coming to check out the video - It has been mentioned before, but the more it comes up, the more I just want to go get a large bin and do exactly that!
Fertilizer. Good night these things poo. We are actually using some to grow mushrooms this year. We are outta space in our garden(don’t want to burn the roots). So we are moving to the woods. Lol

I had a thought, maybe someone else has mentioned it though. Perhaps you could sell their droppings as nitrogen rich additions to compost.
