I would also say, kyrie hasn’t ever done it as a number 1 on his team. Kyrie is Luka’s robin. That means the game plan is for Luka. Steph gets the box and one. Curry was not getting box & 1’d the majority of his career, specifically throughout his prime. He was actually the secondary star to Durant on that title team. I'd argue he's had one of the best supporting casts in NBA history throughout most of his career.

Kyrie has never been the best player on his own team outside of his early years (Cavs) and potentially the celts (dumpster fire). Curry had 1 top 75 costar for 3 seasons. I understand minimizing curry is fun but let’s not pretend that kyrie hasn’t had enough opportunities to prove himself. Kyrie might be more “skilled” but that’s literally a word for potential. Until he achieves there’s no point thinking how he could have been better than curry. And I understand you are an American centric podcast but the global stage isn’t going to forget curry’s game against Serbia or France (and that shot where he shot over two tall defenders) in this Olympics any time soon.
