- Together with the WDR Big Band Richard Bona performs "African Songs & Tales" under the musical direction of Vince Mendoza at the 36th Leverkusener Jazzfestival. Another guest Rhani Krija is on percussions. Produced in Leverkusen Forum (2015).
Richard Bona does not only play the e-bass in a harmonic and hypnotic way , but also his singing in the language of Douala is one of his famous brand-label.

This big band is extraordinary! Richard Bona might be one of the best bass players I've heard since Jacko. But this concert in total is wonderful! I highly recommend it. At times reminds me a bit of Weather Report

As a matter of fact, Richard played and recorded with Joe Zawinul in the ZAWINUL SYNDICATE, which Joe formed in 1988 after Weather Report disbanded in 1986.

Since Buddy Rich's Big Swing Face album, I haven't listened to a big band as much as the wonder you played that night with Richard Bona. You were able to make an Argentinian happy, which is almost a miracle, thank you
