Therapeutic Touch Demo with client lying down

This video shows a Therapeutic Touch session with the client lying on a massage table. In the background is a CD by Janalea Hoffman and Evan Smalley called Musical Biofeedback II. As the practitioner, I center then assess the field. Note the change from assessment to clearing, smoothing, or unruffling; the intention changes from listening with the hands to pick up cues in the field to clearing the imbalances found. TT can be done completely without touching the body, however for many clients light touch on the arms, legs and down the back is very soothing. Because we as Therapeutic Touch practitioners understand that we are energy, when we touch, whether on or off the body, our "energetic fingers" clear to the center of the body.
