I love your passion and strength to travel alone. I honestly wasn't aware of sleeper ferries. I learn so much through your vlogs. Thank you for sharing.
Heyy sorry just seen this! I searched up pictures of the name/company of the boat. You can also read reviews on 12go Asia if you’re booking in advance. If not I guess you can ask at the pier when you get there.
I remember travelling from Koh Tao on a night ferry about 20 years ago..... I don't remember where we docked and wonder if it was Surat Thani ? There were no beds at all though, we just had a mattress on the floor. Going back to Thailand in July with my family and will be travelling from Khoa Sok to Koh Tao.... thinking of taking the night ferry again as it looks like an adventure and at least you get a bed now ! Could you let me know if you can get out on the top deck as i imagine the stars will be a sight to see out there ?
Heyy thanks for watching. I believe there are still some boats that have no beds and mattresses but I ensured I chose one with the bunk option. I don’t think I went to the highest deck but I remember the staff being quite relaxed. You were kind of free to roam about. I went out on to the deck where my bunk was multiple times. If I remember rightly (don’t quote me) I think there were more rooms up on the higher deck so I would assume you could walk around there. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
Hi. No restrictions that I’m aware of. No one checked my bags I just walked on. There’s limited space to keep your actual bag in the room you sleep in though so you might to store this separately. I’d make sure I remove any valuables from luggage that can’t be kept in the room.

They’re not as bad as you’d think. Don’t think I’d opt to go on another by choice though 😂
Pretty interesting part of Thailand you’re showing. I wouldn’t have thought to take that overnight ferry. It’s not bad though.
Yeah it wasn’t too bad at all. So glad I made a friend before hand though 😂

Hello! How did you know which boats had bunk beds and which had a row of mattresses on the floor? Because I can’t seem to find a proper answer 😬

Hi yes it was called Lomprayah
Hi! Do you know if there is any luggage restrictions? We are traveling with 1 cabin luggage (7kg) and 1 big luggage (20kg).
