Hi just bought 78060 yellow jacket gas gauge like you are using in video. I have single stage propane gas valve like in your video, The hose is not big enough to go over outer housing where the op set screw is , Can I take the set screw out of housing op side and test using the pointed adapter they give you in kit putting pointed end inside all the way in hole has far as it will go ? I don't have hose adapter like in your video . Your pointed adapter is hooked to a clear hose .
I think you can just get some 3/8 tubing and slide it over the hose that you have and some black tape to attach It and then you can slide it over the port.
I checked pressures today on a Trane gas furnace but I had to turn the screw counter clockwise to make the pressure go up and clockwise to make the pressure go down. Has any of you guys had that happen to you before?
Kick ass dude I’ve been looking for a video explaining how to check for the gas pressure adjustment with those tiny adjustment screws and I can see on this video that you have the tube all the way around where the screw goes in exactly what I needed thank you
Hi, I have a lennox mid efficiency single stage gas furnace. The manifold on rating plate is 3.5"wc. But I am only getting 1.7"wc. I adjusted to 3.5"wc according to the rating plate. But the furnace overheats and my temperature rise is out of specification. The furnace also intermittently short cycles. Can this be a bad gas valve? Thank you.

That's a good question a lot of people haven't noticed. Just for the purpose of the video I only used one cause most people don't have this Usually they only have one port
Nothing like getting to the roof top and discovering the batteries leaked inside the digital unit I only use analog from now on most reliable in any weather.
@@TaddyDigest I need get one those analog ones cause digtal ones are p.i.t.a. Low battery or you left in work truck cause you didn't feel like hauling it along with co analyzer, go take reading it's all wacky.
" if you are not setting gas pressure on newly installed equipment, you are half a tech" MIC DROP!! You said it best brother.
One hundred percent
That is correct
Thanks you for your service for helping people out
I'm glad to be of help thank you for watching
Please share the videos when you can
Haven’t used an analog manometer since tech school many, many , many years ago. Digital can be zeroed and is precise. Analog, you are only close.
Was 3.5wc outlet side a good pressure?
Could u list parts of guage? Like it...

which scale do you read on gauge blue or white for propane
on water column gauge yellow jacket Thanks
I am using the blue
Thanks man!! Great video

Very cool glad this video helped I am so glad that you watched thank you so much Matthew
Do you have to set the pressure based on the gas valve or based on the unit recommend pressure?
I set the gas pressure base off of the choice of fuel, whether it's natural gas or propane, and based on the recommended pressure.
@@TaddyDigest thank you 👍
Your welcome 🙏
Super helpful!
So glad!
What size tubing is fitting around the outp?
I usually use quarter inch tubing

Gotcha thanks!

This has nothing to do with a gas valve for sure

Check your blower speeds, and debri on the wheels
Whoops free tips
Usually related to low air flow. Clean blower fan if necessary. Look for and clear any obstructions.
Link for analog manometer? Please and thank you
Hey Michael Here is the one I use amzn.to/3RMsRWo
You have a high-end SDMN6 that can test at the same time toggling P1 and P2. Why single line analog?

Minimum supply pressure for manifold usually on data tag. Commonly it's usually 4.5inwc not 7
very cool thanks Raymond 😊

Yeah I like the analogue one I've actually got a digital 1 as well but I hate having to replace the battery.
because you do not remove everything screw of outp?
I don't understand 😕 the question Clarify
so I can help my friend
@@TaddyDigest she said why didnt you remove the whole screw from the output side of the gas valve
Manual says to "back the screw out one turn counterclockwise. No more than one turn."
