One thing I wanna say is that if you wanna wear a Pakistani dress go for lighter or neutral colors. The darker colors in summer as you know absorb most of the sunlight and warm you up more than cool you down. I hope it makes sense.

I was commenting to my daughters (one of them is also named Sarah) that you are dressed so well for Pakistan, not too covered up like in the villages, but pretty typical for urban middle class Pakistani women in public. Looks good on you and is probably cooler than other constricting clothing. Gavin is also looking good in kurta shalwar, although you might have chosen a lighter color for a hot climate 😉

i love foreigners who enjoy mixing with locals most of these local people are hardworking and you guys really encourage them, they are fun and usually they are excited when foreigners interact with them. but for foreigners it's ok to interact with working locals who are busy in their jobs etc, but not general public on streets
