@@yourstruly.hannah FRRR like it’s a VOCAL rating. If they were gonna use that logic, they should also have kohane low, because her voice isn’t typically super loud like you would expect from street music. (no hate to kohane ofc, i love her voice a lot)

Kanade gets the love she deserves?? She's always ranked towards the bottom bc her voice is "boring" and it makes me so upset man 😭 I love Kanade so much and I think her voice being softer than the rest of the group is so very fitting for her character.
She's the peace keeper and is by far the most calm/level headed character?? Her voice isn't by any means boring it's on god one of the most relaxing voices in the game. Kanade solos
I love Kanade so much, my favorite. Her voice is so amazing and I have no idea why people say “oh her voice is bad.”

kanade's voice is Ethereal. it sounds almost like a whisper at times, and is filled with so much emotion!!! [big kanade fan right here if u cannot tell]
Kanade’s voice just hits different. If there was a category for beautiful, soft and ethereal then she would absolutely dominate. I love her soft voice so much

Ain’t no way An’s voice is a the very bottom 😨, I know that there are hits and misses but honestly there are far more hits than misses in my opinion. Not to mention her voice has gotten much better in the recent songs that VBS has done

I’m actually really surprised Mafuyu’s ranking is low. In my opinion, she sang really good.

I hate when people say things like "she feels off" as an insult... cause like... THATS THE POINT!!!
Mafuyu can speak out her emotion claerly through her singing, especially in some fierce songs. She can also hold gentle songs as well. I think she deserves top5 in my ranking.
an is still on top of the list for me. I do agree that her voice is a hit or miss in some covers. she sounds strained in some of them, but I love her voice in some songs like alter ego. because in that she uses a lower voice unlike in most vbs songs instead and it sounds amazing. her voice is unique and that’s why I love it so much. it’s just the execution that are a 50/50 for me. I hope to listen to more of an’s deep singing voice in future covers.

I def prefer her to Minori/Nene/Kohane/Emu for that reason, the higher pitches grate on me.
Mizuki's va has very powerful pipes, idk if you've seen the seiyuu's work in revue starlight and d4dj (specifically the 4 challenges song omg she popped off)

As a shiho stan no matter how much I hate some of the opinions on these type of videos, always really glad to see her getting what she deserves.
I couldn’t agree more with shiho and shizuku being first!!! They’re definitely both my favourites as well, there’s just something about their voices that’s so unique and pleasing to listen to, and as you said they don’t have any bad covers!
omg finally some love for shizuku! her cover of romeo and cinderella makes me tear up, she has such a strong and unique voice

FINALLY someone who agrees with me about An and Nene's voices, idk they're both amazing singers but they're just not my favorite tbh. This list is like perfect even though I am personally obsessed with Ichika's voice I respect your opinion, Shiho is absolutely incredible. Also I ngl agree with that Mizuki ranking even though the comments seem to think otherwise lol. Also love seeing the higher rankings for Haruka, Honami, and Saki, since people always rank them so low on these lists (idk why). Love seeing rankings like this!!

I very much agree with An at the bottom. Your description for her is very accurate with the hit or miss thing. It really hits when it hits BUT misses HARD when it misses
I'm just glad to see someone who didn't rank Honami last. A lot of people say that her soft vocals doesn't fit Leo/Need's genre, but Honami's covers says otherwise. Also you put both Hinomori sisters in the same rank nice.
Finally a vocal ranking video where they don't just put the guys as top 4!! Shizuku is my fav character this is such a based list
AND SHIHO TOO!! Both Hinomoris have such range and they're so versatile so I get why they're both first :D

I realize now that a lot of fans prefer lower voices over higher ones because they get "grating" or whatever. I'm the opposite, especially if those high voices can also utilize vibrato and a good piano dynamic. Honami, Kohane, Minori, and Nene fit this, but they all unfortunately get ranked so low because people prefer lower voices like Shiho and Mizuki.

seeing nene in 19th place made me feel so validated lol, have never been a huge fan of the sound of her voice. technically she's very good, but the voice isn't to my tastes. shizuku and honami getting love is so well deserved.

W FAVORITES but some of the lower placements are a little sad… for me tsukasa is last place by a long shot just bcz of how strained his voice sounds all of the time. i wish they would let his VA sing naturally.
