Old TCU (Gary Patterson) Cov 4 rule: If he is vertical at LB depth (around 5 yards) he is yours for the rest of the play. The scissors used to kill us. I got this from Youngstown St: When #1 runs at #2 the CB yells "Frame" and this alerts the Safety and they just wait for those two receivers to come to them. Even if the CB is wrong and there is no scissors look we are still sound on the back end.. Norvell's play is a good variation of 4 verts. And I don't care what you call the defense, if you get 4 verts you are playing man. One question about Norvell's play: who is hot? If the RB is only pass pro I guess there are some sight adjusts for blitzes. Great analysis. I am seeing this play a lot at the HS level.

Hey question do you know what teams play alot of 2man coverage (cover5) I would like to watch and study them
UW plays some. You can't live in it or teams will run the ball up and down the field.
Dang not one wr got rerouted at all by any lb or db. I thought the lbs run w 2 if verticals ?
