    Hello, I really enjoyed the video. I am a second year OC/HC. I am struggling with being able to slow the game down wit my eyes so I can see how to adjust. I also notice that I watch football a lot when on the sidelines and I am trying to just focus solely on what the defense is doing. I am down on the sideline so it’s very difficult to see the fronts and alignment. Can you please give me some exercises on how to improve this. Much appreciated, best wishes. Thank you for your time.

    Quick question...are there any resources that can help with cut-ups? I had a coach who would give us packet each week containing a breakdown of our opponents, and it would give us percentages on 3rd and down for defense, 1st and down for offense, etc.

    I came in the latter part of that season and you Are absolutely correct on everything except one thing. There was a lot of talent there but with no leadership, was an impossible task! I also played in Albany and you are spot on with the culture there! Coach Buff created that along with coach Hoensee and coach Daily! Three great coaches!

    I remember my defensive line coach in high school, here in West Tennessee, had been a starting lineman for Ole Miss in the late 80's. He played with and against alot of guys, who a little later, went on to become some of the biggest names in the NFL. He was a huge and powerful dude, and I remember him telling us one day, at a break in practice, that the transition from high school to college was unbelievable. He said everyone was 10 times bigger, stronger and faster than the biggest, strongest and fastest players in high school.

    How do you prevent the lineman from getting his hands on you first? Most lineman i face have much longer arms and therefore more reach, making it so they are able to touch me before i can get my hands on their chest and shoulder

    The Thurman Thomas zone flood technique helps tremendously in a disguised Co3 via the Co4 look in Sky/Cloud…

  • @pe7143
    @pe7143 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    It’s not a kill-shot for the back-side of the safety rotating away if the flood technique is taught and executed properly. That entails vision opposite the hips and movement and, at the very least, a back-side awareness by the rotational safety. In fact, we get big plays by having the QB believe the vertical opposite the rotation is a clean throw and target. As in ALL defenses; each has a weakness or, in essence, a weaker element to it in competition to its strengths.

    Coach. I coach 13 & 14 yr olds on a spring flag football team. They also all play on the same tackle team for school in the fall. When they come out & everything goes well they are great, but, as soon as the other team has success, many of them fall apart mentally. We were tied at 7-7 and you would've thought we were down by 40. How do you address that & actually change that? Is there a way? Should I also talk to parents?
