Diane, you might not know how to sew, but you had me in stitches. I had to take a six week sewing course in 8th grade. It didn't take. Thank God for those kids in Bangladesh. They helped me survive many winters.

Hi- after watching some of your shows on TH-cam I decided to go to a live comedy act in town. As intermission approached, I was thinking, "If I were at home I could be studying, talking to my cat, playing the guitar, or watching a Diane Spencer video. They all sounded better than sitting through the second half. So I went home and did all of those things and went to bed happier than I would have been if I had stayed. I have one discomfort though. I wasted $11 on the show I went to, and your video delivered much more value. So how can your online audience help you continue to produce these gems?
Hi Michael, I am super happy you talk to your cat. I talk to cats, especially if they are just sat outside their front gates. Sorry you had a bad time at a comedy act, it can be quite unpredictable at times. In response to your question... that's interesting. In producing these shows, I have everything I need - time to write, stationery, gigs to try out the material on, it more comes down to the money in paying for the film crew and venue when we come to film. I do sell my shows as digital downloads, but I'm considering how I could run a patreon that would deliver more than a 15 monthly special :) When people like/subscribe to me on social media and they are supportive, that is such an important thing. Having people like yourself there who are excited and happy to be a part of the journey is great. So yeah. Did I answer the question?! Possibly! Would welcome your thoughts. :)

In my experience, Indiana Jones carried a torch in the Temple of Doom but I had a puzzled look on my face trying to figure where Mr. Jones had the batteries whilst running in the cave with that torch.
I am trying to get through all your shows and spread them out because this "stay at home" thing is going on forever. I enjoy good comedy quietly, but a few times you had me lose my coffee choking . It's been a year since this has been released and I abuse the replay button every few weeks the same way you stumble upon a favorite song in a playlist set to shuffle haha Long and short of it, please keep on being amazing. @@DianeSpencercomedian Your comedy is much better but I sometimes need subtitles. I did learn what a "torch" is from when you had to borrow those batteries. In my experience, Indiana Jones carried a torch in the Temple of Doom but I had a puzzled look on my face trying to figure where Mr. Jones had the batteries whilst running in the cave with that torch.
I'm going to enjoy going through all these specials. :)

I am trying to get through all your shows and spread them out because this "stay at home" thing is going on forever. I enjoy good comedy quietly, but a few times you had me lose my coffee choking . I'm now seriously considering stand up comedy after watching (let's not kid ourselves, "re"watching) your shows, but I think I'll be settling on telling stories to my friends for now, haha
