The Source Profiler by Exeldro is a must-have plugin for anyone serious about streaming. Now you can monitor how much each scene, source, and filter uses your PC resources in real time. Have you tried it yet? Let me know what you think!
Was struggling to find the installer but i finally i found it haha was having a dumb moment, need to click releases on the right hand side it's in there
Well this awesome plugin was enough for me to try the beta. The plugin is amazingly useful. I had no idea Luma Key was so CPU heavy. It also seems like at least in some cases obs-shaderfilter uses up CPU and GPU even when the filter is disabled. More testing needed. Only problem I've run into so far is the obs source copy plugin isn't working on this new version yet (no longer there on tools menu).
Every time I install the obs 31 beta it wont load at all. not sure what the issue is as i really want to use this plugin, anyone know of a fix ? the previous version works perfect when i reinstall btw.
how do i know if i have a tree build or stand alone, i cant get the window to show (im on obs 31 beta) normally i just download the exe or drag the plugins into the plugin folder, basically not sure how to set it up lmao
I need a plugin that allows me to easily add lyrics on screen to songs of mine. Could you help me out? You strike me as a guy that knows almost all there is to know about OBS and I'm a bum! Of course I'm able to stream and do the basics with OBS, but I'm trying to find a way to add captions of my lyrics on screen that I'm able to easily manipulate as far as timing etc. I see tons of amateur music videos these days on TH-cam that do this but I can't find the best way to go about doing it for my own music. Thx
Plugins do not take up CPU unless they are actively being used. Some plugins might use a lot of resources. For instance, if you use a Gaussian blur and max the settings, it will use a truck ton of resources. If you use something like a dual kawase blur, it won’t use as many resources. Thus the Source Profiler plugin will help you work out what is using computer resources. OBS can’t be obsolete, it’s the best broadcasting software available 👍

I'm having a stupid moment but.. how do we install it? I can't find the installer or instructions
@@JaxDaggerClick the link in the description and then under releases you find the 0.02 & 0.01 version
@@JaxDagger there's a "releases" link on the right hand side.

Exeldro does it again! 👏🏻This is possibly the greatest plugin in OBS history (at least since Move!)
Great plugin and great walkthrough of how and why to use it.
thanks for sharing mate 👊😀
thanks a lot to you and Exeldro !
is it possible to see, what the RAM usage / status is ?
for example while using the "replay source" (from Exeldro)
Excellent tool for DEBUG.
Exeldro is a beast!
Hey @Andilippi thanks for the tutorial, does it work on a mac? Thanks, Ludwig

WOW, this is massive!
Why does the built-in CPU usage show such a vastly different number? Or did I miss that explanation in the video?
Finally, a tool in the arsenal of anybody whose lust for filters overwhelms their disdain for dropped frames (me)

finally i can check which of my 200 scenes crashes OBS 😆
ok obs is crashing when I open the performance viewer hahaha

Super robota. Gratulacje
Great job. Congrats
Yessss in it's time, thi I'm having a problem with browser sources crashing obs for some reason
Andi made me comment. It is another great video though, so you should totally watch it.
so it don't work on the OBS Studio 31.0.0 Release Candidate 1??
It will. The release candidate is newer than the beta
I was court ordered to be here.

hi to me
I AM SO EXCITE!!!!!!!!!!!!! (edit: causes OBS 31 beta to freeze, can't use it)
Have you fed it back to Exeldro?
Every plugin takes up a little more CPU power. Eventually, OBS will become obsolete due to so many plugins.

I wrote this comment so I could eat tonight
Does it work on slobs
NO SLOBS! (yells in no capes voice)
should ask if it works on raspberry pi.
move over to normal OBS, it's not as scary as it looks and you will thank yourself some day
