I think what made this film feel adequate for me is the fact that they gave almost too much screen time for the Horsemen. When back in the first film (as far as I remember) they barely got any screen time except when they were performing, and most of the screen time was on Dylan Rhodes and his partner. The fact that they had so little screen time along the magnitude of the things they do WHEN they get their screen time is what makes the first film so great, it just enhances the Horsemen's mystique as a whole.
This is one of my favorite movies and you make it just much more fun

I already know and love this movie but I just NEED to watch this recap. From the first 5 seconds, I know the meme potential is immense 😂
Also, in this movie there's actual magic. Some of these tricks just aren't possible. Like the shop owners asking 'weren't there 2 of you?' and Thaddeus disappearing from the sarcophagus...somehow. The note he left seemed to be stuck in a trap door out the back of it, but out the back in reality would just be back in the shop again, visible to everyone. Unless the owners forgot about the false bottom positioned right above a secret trapdoor in their shop that they never discovered earlier?
