Here's an idea! Give each person something to draw, then halfway through their drawing give them something else. They must complete the drawing as the second thing, and cannot erase anything from the first part.

Between dogbird's entire existence and learning that I can just call bumblebees "bombus" for the rest of my life, I think this might be the best episode of Drawfee.
Bombus is the genus name, so it is technically accurate, but there are also species names. Sort of like being able to call all hominids, including man, Homo, but not being specific as to sapien, erectus, austrilopithicus, etc.
As an aside an old English name for bumblebees is Dumbledore, which may be even more fun for you, depending on your flavor of fandom. 😁
For the record, the Warriors of Virtue were in fact based on Tao teachings. Those are the five elements in Tao, and contain the virtues of Tao. It was made by Chinese-Americans with no previous filmmaking experience, based on a series of characters they had created.
Hollywood wasn't involved--it was self-published. They were just creatives trying to get their work out there. And, unlike some others, they didn't seem all that arrogant about it. Just upstarts trying to make something for Chinese and Chinese American audiences in a time where that was not common in America.
Did they right the book before or after making the movie? I definitely remember reading Warriors of Virtue at some point. I realized just now that this not a new video.
@@davidprince6877 They seem to have been released around the same time, though apparently the book series continued further than the movies.
And, for the record, I was somewhat mistaken. According to the (current) Wikipedia page, the film was a joint product with many countries, and MGM actually distributed the movie in the US. The producers had never made a film before, but they did hire a Hong Kong director (who had never made an English film before). The guy making the animatronics had film experience, though.
Still, the main point that this wasn't some Hollywood perversion of Chinese culture remains.

So, Bombus is the genus name for all bumblebees. Since Julia searched for just "bumblebee" she got the whole genus, not a specific species. All species has two names to identify them, for example, one of the most common species of bumblebee where I come from has the scientific name Bombus pascuorum, with Bombus being the genus, pascuorium being the species name.
She didn't search for it, it was on a list of A-Z scientific animal names.
Bombus Hypnorum surely would have resulted in an interesting creation.
So bees from Xylocopa genus are not called bumblebees? Interesting. In Brazil, we commonly call both Bombus and Xylocopa (actually, any large badass bee) "mamangavas" or just "mangavas"

Though they aren't that closely related. Amphibians and reptiles are combined into a single group called herptiles taxonomically. Herp is Latin for creeping thing, and carl linnaeus just thought they were gross so they are lumped together. I love them

As a Spanish-speaking person, can confirm. Though in my experience Brazilian players use "kkkkkkk", I've never seen "huehuehue" used unironically.
Huehuehue os old msn messenger laughing, now used mostly ironically (also spelled hu3hu3). Now most brazilians use haha, kkkkk, or the occasional LDHKADJLAHSKDJ when laughing online

@@terrafallow animorphs tended to have three to four series drawings where it went from animal to human. They should do the template rather than just a single part of the transformation.

I’m ashamed to admit I scrolled for almost half this video to find a comment about the show Nathan meant
Nathan, Jacob, and Julia.. I know yall probably wont read this but in case you do I want to thank you. My mother, who's my everything, my entire heart, literally the only mom who perfectly balanced being a mom, best friend, AND mentor to her daughter (me). She was so pure and selfless. She passed just two days ago. I cant bare to talk details any longer but I was there and it was traumatic along with the devastation of losing her period. Right now I'm still having an extremely hard time, I could never equate this pain to anything. My mind feels completely fractured. I feel better around people. But since I'm having trouble sleeping, I have no one at night that's awake to speak to. Your videos have gave me some comfort. It's just calming me to hear your voices. It's the only thing I've tried watching since she passed. Just thank you so much for your videos. I cant express how much this is helping me right now when it's so late and theres no one to talk to and I'm alone with all this sadness. Thank you so much Nathan, Jacob, and Julia.

I just experienced something similar with my father. Trying to fall asleep is sometimes the hardest part of my day so i listen to drawfee videos until i fall asleep. Many times it has turned crying into laughing when I didnt think it was possible and I appreciate these people so much.
I might be late but think about it. They will want you to be happy. Look at the miracles around you. Make the most out of your life. It will be tough to move on but think about want she wants. Sry for bringing bad memories but I can't leave a person who hanging like this.
