I putt with a Houdini, and was actually looking to check out a different putter with the same or similar flight numbers, so I am going to see how it feels.
@@FlippyJamesDG the other two I’m looking at are the Envy and Aviar X3 with similar numbers, or maybe just a regular Luna. For some reason I like the 3303 flight numbers for putting.
So, the bead was actually cut in to the Luna, not added to the bottom of it, if that makes sense. That’s why it’s a little funky looking. Great feel tho
Proto rubber blend. I putt with a Luna, picked up a couple Kratos. I tend to putt only with this plastic blend from discraft. It seems like the kratos I received are slightly more stable than my Lunas, but I agree it's not 3 3 0 3. I noticed these don't have tooling on the inside or a sticker, well done discraft. Solid video. I also throw esp Lunas, have several hole in ones with it, ❤ Luna
I found the same thing with hand feel vs the luna. For me, the rounded underside of the luna and having no bead made it rotate from holding it flat in my hand, to it slipping down to a hyzer angle when i just try to hold it. The bead stops the kratos from rotating from a flat level in my hand.
@@FlippyJamesDG i actually have the same problem with the zone. It has the.fligjt i want but i cant release it flat. The zone OS fixed the problem but is way to overstable. Rock and a hard place. I will just stick with my pigs i guess. Especially the new xt plastic ones! The champ pigs they just came out witg are beef, the r pro beat uo too quick but the xt are about as strait as the r pro but so far beat in less quickly.
@@FlippyJamesDG first off, sorry, this got long. So when you hold a disc out in front of you like you are aiming your shot, the kratos and the zone OS stay flat and parallel to the ground. This means i can release it flat when i throw it. With the zone and the luna if i try to hold it out flat and try to hold it parallel to the ground, the shape of them allows them tonl droop in my hand into a hyzer angle as i try to hold them flat. Consequently when i throw them the same way i throw my other putters and mids to throw flat, they come out with about 10 to 15 degrees of hyzer right out of the hand. Just the way my hand shapes around it they rotate them selves into a hyzer in my hand. Oh and also i 4 finger power grip everything outside 200 and my putters drive is about 240. Also, slickness of plastic does make this worse. I also have really dry hands and most of the discraft plastic is quite slick for me. I do have one jawbreaker zone that in can throw but since it beats in fast, it is just a good pushing overstable putter rather than a good approach disc. Grippy plastic is a must for consistent grip for me.
i bag 4 kratos. They fly more like a 3/4/0/1 which i love. A crystal, a super beat in CT, and a newer CT for throwing. The crystal seems to be the most overstable for me. The CT feels more straight when its beat in. Really good for some long anhyzer kinda turnover shots and i putt with rubber blend. Best putter ive ever used. Dont see myself switching anytime soon
@@FlippyJamesDG probably a 3/4/0/2. It has a little stronger late fade if i throw it straight and if i throw a long swoopy anhyzer it comes out of it pretty nice
@@largebugI also putt with the kratos as well, the proto rubber blend has been my favorite. I tried a pair of the first runs but it could just be my hands but they are a little slicker than the proto rubber blends. I just picked up a pair of kratos in the new soft putter line plastic so I’ll lyk how those are.
@@FlippyJamesDG feel wise i love it. Ive been able to put them only in my basement but they are nice. Cant wait to throw them but we got some crazy snow today and yesterday.
Great Backflip to start it off! Glad to see they are back.
Haha thanks man!
My son got me one for Xmas. Can't wait to throw it
Let me know how you like it! Merry Christmas!

Just from the description I feel like they’ll be pretty different.

This makes total sense. I like it. Thank you!

Thank you! I didn’t even check for tooling. Maybe because it’s the prototype? Mine did have the weight stamped.

What made the zone os feel better?

Im holding one now. Havnt thrown it yet. Ill tell you what i think though once i do.

Off-topic, but great mic. Is that a dji? Thanks
Yep, all the gear I use is in the link in the description.
Just got a Luna. Only threw it a few times. No way it is a 3 3 0 3. More like 3 3 0 1.
What plastic?
