Beautiful retro design! (the only thing that is a bit troubling is the tilt of the C pilar - the back door window is a trapezoidal shape that wouldn't let the window open. I guess a tilt towards the fron would be more visually appealing and practical)

@@marcosneto9412 It depends on your current status, if you have a background in arts and design you might find it not so hard to apply for schools such as, assuming that you're in the States, Art Center and College for Creative Studies which have decent transportation design programs. Otherwise you'd like to take art lessons focused on product and vehicle design. This is an extremely small field, meaning both the number of students and job opportunities around the world is small, going through the curriculum in the school and getting a job would be pretty demanding, but once you get a job in this field, you'll start with a satisfying amount of salary.

Interesting idea and I love the wheel upgrade. Very sporty. The problem is the details just aren't there for me. The driver-side roof line dips in-between the existing top and the new top. The rear window wouldn't be able to go down given as it's bigger at the top than at the bottom. The rear door window cut line is missing from the other side of the car, easily visible from the interior of the vehicle. The rear door frame would be not be that sharply cut. Porsche would have curved/shaped the rear of the back door frame forward at the top - much like the current Panamera. Love the idea of this one but I think you need to spend a little more time on the mechanics.

the design was working SO well until you morphed the first row shorter. these Early 911's were historically small cars and taking space from the front row means that it'd be terribly uncomfortable. obviously this is just logistics and you're more concerned about the design, but the relationship between the first row windows and second row is a little off there as well. the second row is soooo much longer after that morph; its looking like LIMO amounts of legroom in the back. I think you nailed it right off the bat with just the extended wheelbase and keeping the first row door and seats as they were. The rear seats you added could have been back more, as the 901's did have those cramped rear buckets already that you can almost see in the image you chose. That could easily make up for the additional legroom in the rear and maintain the coupe-ish design you were going for. Obviously a super small detail in the end and just my opinion; you nailed everything else; as a concept of design, this is brilliant.

man, i always give a likes under your video, but unfortunately not today... I really love the first generation of the panamera right because it is so outstanding car... the fact that the rear which it has is so much unique and you can't really tell if it is a wagon or shootinf brake or the fast back... it kinda combines it all... also the back is really beautifully curved which modern doesn't have, modern feels more flat honestly... yeah it looks maybe better but not form, because my associations with the old is that it is a very majestic, opulent and as well elegant car. The modern looks to me more similar to all the Vw Arteon or Audi 5-7, yeah they look cool, but less elegant, they try to act sportive, which i agree that they are... so in conclusion your redesign is brilliant, but you've hurt my feelings ( XD)

Pretty cool looking re-imagining of the 901 (or 911, thanks to Peugeot). As well as the c-pillar being slanted, one thing that bothers me is the rear door proportion compared to the front one. I understand the reasoning behind it, just feels really weird to me.

That 4door Porsche actually exists. From Porsche itself.

There actually is a car that’s just like this, it’s called the 1967 Porsche 911 S 4-Door converted by troutman

Hey SketchMonkey, would you be interested in making a series in which you take the sketches of your subscribers and retouch them?

There’s technically already one created by Porsche. It’s a One-off 67 911 4 door and Doug fact: It actually has suicide doors.

I think that Porsche try to do a berlina like Citroen CX, GS or later on the BX. They were popular on the 70’s.
