If you could talk through the instructions on the video instead of the music, it would be a lot easier to understand, for a beginner, I can't see where the second row of stitches is going
I just noticed you hold your yarn the same as I do. I could never do it with it wrapped around my index finger. I’ve never seen anyone else hold like me until now. Guess I was just concentrating on your stitches. Lol
The BG music is too distracting. I was kind of expecting a gospel choir to start singing at one point.I know, I know, I can turn the volume down. Just saying, though.
@@massivecrochet I know. It's your personal preference. But here's a tip: That very non-descriptive title is the biggest shortcoming in your videos. Such titles makes your videos very forgettable and someone looking for a specific stitch/pattern will not be able to find your videos.
I personally like the way it looks with the chunky yarn used in the video. I think it helps the stitches stand out more, and gives the pattern a more textured look. A thinner yarn might make the pattern look too uniform. Anyway, it's a matter of personal preference. If you prefer the look of a thinner yarn, go for it 😊

It looks to me that the stitches in row 3 are back loop single crochets.
If you pay attention at the video, you'll see that actually they're not.
Except they’re front loops.
