I love the imperfections; the clicking, clacking, and chiffing of an old organ. As far as the over all sound, this is magnificent! Thanks so much for sharing!!
A wonderful demonstration of this modern full service German organ. It has tonal resources to compliment most of the organ literature. Thank you , Paul, for presenting this Rieger organ.
Love that Paul the demonstration of the organ was phenomenal. Wonderful sounds of every single piece of the stops. Plus I definitely love the pedal demonstration and the finale.

At the end of World War II, the firm was nationalised by the Czech government and merged with another workshop as Rieger-Kloss. The Rieger tradition was also continued by the owners and workers of the original firm, who moved to Austria and founded a new workshop as "Rieger Orgelbau". ... As far as I know, the Czech branch Rieger-Kloss (with seat in Krnov near the Czech-Polish border north-west of Ostrava) has ceased its operations in the Czech Republic since 2015, however they seem to be continuing their operations in Bloomingdale in Illinois, not far from Chicago (which is not surprising considering the great number of Czech expats living in the greater Chicago area) ... I used to play on a great Rieger-Kloss organ with 3 manuals and independent pedal in St. Clement´s Church in Prague from about 2000 till 2010, as the assistant organist and choirmaster of the Anglican Church in Prague: a lovely organ, not huge but perfectly well suited for playing the most diverse styles of organ music, from Bach to Duruflé
Another wonderful demonstration of another wonderful German organ! You certainly know your way around the keyboards (and pedalboard), Paul, and it's delight to watch you as you take on these instruments one after another. There is seemingly nothing you cannot do! Thank you!
That 32'...GOOD LORD! I had a piece of paper in my hand in front of the sub and you could see it MOVING at a frequency you could almost count on the bottom pedal. THAT was impressive. VERY little pushes my 15" Velodyne servo sub hard, but that very much did. You could hear the windows shake, the dishes rattle in the china cabinets, and it is actually set pretty flat down in that range....well, OK, so I reached into the APO Equalizer and bumped it a bit 20hz down for the demo. :-) Who could resist?? It reminded me a bit of going to Space Park and watching the Artemis go heavenward. If you ever come to Fl to see one launch, make it that beast, or Starship if it ever gets here. You could feel it in your chest and up through your feet from the ground AT 12 MILES distance. Your organ pipe has nothing on that. I think I remember hearing that the Saturn V would KILL you from the SPL due to the sound, and Artemis is about 20% more thrust than that. I remember seeing that bird a couple of times from the Cape, too, as a kid, and a bunch of times from the house on the other side of Orlando. Once it was quiet enough and we waited the few minutes the sound took to get there, and you could still hear it, very quietly, but the neighborhood was quiet that day, and it was audible. That's about 50 miles, give or take. Loved the organ tour. Sorry for getting off track there more than a little.
Thanks Paul for a great demonstration. Very nice organ. Hope you sampled the bratwurst in Kulmbach - the locals claim its the best in all of Germany and they are up against some stiff competition.

Paul, I believe this is the wonderful organ where you recently played your FANFARE on 'Joy to the World'. I'm looking forward to watching your demonstration of this fine pipe organ.
Rieger builds some wonderful instruments and this one is so no exception. Everything is well voiced; each stop is unique in its own way and everything blends together well too. That Untersatz is definitely a room shaker too! You did a great job showing off the color possibilities this organ has. Thanks, as always, for a great demonstration!
My very favorite thing about your playing and improv, is the decidedly 19th century feel to the harmony and lines. I wish more people embraced this style.
Thank you Paul for another brilliant experience in my discovery of Germany´s organ landscape: never had I thought that a small and remote town like Kulmbach would harbor such a remarkable instrument. Remarkable because of its rich variety in stops and colours and its harmonious and silvery shining Tutti, probably because finally, finally this is an organ where all manuals can compete with each other in the Tutti ... And you are right: the 32-foot Untersatz makes all the difference, it even reminds me of the 32-foot Untersatz in the Silbermann organ in Freiberg: well, if that ain´t a huge compliment ... 😀

That limitation was before the refurbishment of the town hall and in particular the concrete roof over the organ space which had deteriorated due to water damage (& rebuild of the organ). I like this Untersatz because the fundamental is not obscured by a bunch of typical reed-pipe harmonics. Altogether, a very nice organ to hear; probably a joy to ply upon. The 16' Posaune is fun to make a musical emphasis. Fun to hear you demo this instrument. I have to say that the tutti is overwhelming: a musical climax, as it were. It could make a coda cataclysmic.
