I saw in another video that had you sanding the fiber tape after it hardens. Is that not necessary?

Christopher Bestian sanding any smooth glossy areas of the Fiber Tape is recommended for best adhesion of the Liquid Grip.

Do you have to let the water dry before applying the paint?

The Fiber Tape needs to cure. It hardens up in about 5 minutes, full cure in about 20 minutes. Then Liquid Grip can be applied.

Steven Rocha sorry we missed this, but yes! The Lacing Rings are of special durometer silicone which will help absorb vibrations and impact.

Not made to be. But a cutting tool or grinder will get it off eventually.
