I'd love to see the PIG, the Iron Fox Flathead axe, and the Fire Maul Tools Mauler paired with a 30" Pro-Bar and put through their paces side by side doing forcible entry, vertical ventilation, and overhaul work.
Thanks for the contact, a few sentences on the company, owned by a fire fighter, they employee volunteer fire fighters. Mention any awards the company has a won, it will just take a few moments of video time.
Oh yea, no problem. The Pig and The Iron Fox axe are both small companies completely run by active firefighters. I will have another video on the Rescue Wedge soon too and it's made by an Austin, TX firefighter. All of them are really nice guys. I will try to mention more about the manufacturers as I continue. Thanks
I haven't used it personally but I have checked it out at FDIC. Seems to be constructed well and has some interesting features. I think it is definitely worth giving it a test.

i totally agree. a good head to head would be HUGELY beneficial
Video on the Boston tool forcible entry please? :-)
mushrooming is also dangerous because it can chip off during a strike and send a piece of shrapnel flying causing injury
i like the Piglet. its 6lbs. lighter but does the same amount of work. just might purchase one
andrewzy so you can purchase your own tools? I had no idea, when I become a firefighter I'm probably gonna buy a bad axx.
S P2000 depends man. Make sure you ask your Captain/BC first
Thanks Matt, Please in the future mention more regarding the company that manufactures products in your reviews.
+jonathan bosco Can you explain a little more? Like explain who makes the products or where to get them?

Will it work as a battering ram :-)?
Any info on that LS8 axe with the mushrooming? How much work to get it to that point? I thought that was a drop forged tool!
I have a pick fire axe and I destroyed 3 vacuums today for the moter in them is so much fun
Your video on the hooligan bar please
have you done a video of the BADAXX? Stupid name, but it looks like a tool worth reviewing

It's a POS
Love my PIG.
A video on the bad axe :-)
Sgt. Awesome the what?
I'd just as soon carry a halogen paired with a 6ld flat axe
Definitely not an axe. This is basically a pick head axe-shaped sledgehammer.
YEEAAH...
